Our family of 3 stayed at the Anchor BnB over the Easter bank holiday 2022. The cost of the 2 night stay was very reasonable. We had 1 double and 1 single room adjacent to each other. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly face and smile and showed to our rooms. My son had the single room. Ample space for 1 person. Single bed and en suite bathroom/shower. Set of drawers,TV, hanging space and bedside cabinet. Complimentary towels, tea & coffe and shower products were also in the room. The room was decorated to a great standard and impeccably clean and tidy. We had the double room next door, also decorated to a lovely standard and impeccably clean. Double bed, large standing mirror, large set of drawers, bedside cabinet, TV, hanging space, iron/ ironing board, hairdryer and 2 seats in the bay window and ensuite bathroom. Complimentary towels, tea &coffe and shower products were also provided. The stay was on a breakfast included basis and was provided in a qainte little conservatory on the side of the house with space for 6 people to sit and eat. Choices for breakfast included a selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, tea/coffee and full English with toast. We opted for full English and Needless to say we were not disappointed. All cooked fresh to order and exactly as requested. The decor of the building was to a good standard and we had keys to each of our rooms including the exterior doors so that we could come and go as we pleased and there was no evening curfew. There is immediate parking on the road outside which could be tricky at times but not a major problem. The establishment is run by husband and wife, Shirley and Gary and the housekeeper Tracey. The team simply cannot do enough to ensure your stay in pleasant and comfortable. We will most certainly be a returning customer In the very near future. UTMP
