I actually had 2 comfortable nights at this hotel but their website just kept on charging my credit card over and over. Thankfully, it showed up on my phone, so I was able to inform the staff and show them the receipt at the time. A very helpful front receptionist said he would contact the finance department and that when I checked out early the next morning' it would all have been rectified. When I went to reception, no one could help and I was told to wait for the manager who would be on duty after my flight left..... So far, no response from this hotel and no money back.I've contacted my credit card provider and so I now have to battle to get my money back. My experience of checking in was in I’m afraid to say, truly awful. I arrived at 5am and the older gentleman checking me in was ignorant. Apparently, he was the ‘English speaker’ on duty and he completely ignored me when I asked a question. I received no information whatsoever about breakfast times, where facilities in the hotel were and he didn’t even have the good manners to look up at me when I checked in, he just opened his hand for my passport. He started huffing and getting obviously irritated when I asked if it were possible to arrange a later breakfast as I wouldn’t be getting to bed u TIL 6am, despite having to pay for the hotel for the night before. The guy actually just ignored me until I asked him directly and he didn’t even look up and said ‘no’ in a really annoyed manner. Great customer service, thanks! Thankfully, when I had need to speak to reception staff during the day, this was a much better experience. I spoke to a young woman and on another occasion a young uni man who were friendly and helpful, so much so, I decided to stay again on my return trip the following week. That was up until they kept charging my credit card, firstly through the own hotels website that said the transaction failed but charged the credit card and then again when duplicate monies had been charged by the hotel. Mistakes happen. It it how quickly and satisfactorily they are sorted that makes the difference between staying there again and avoiding it. Would I recommend staying here? Yes, breakfast is good and the hotel was clean and quiet on the 19th floor. It is dated and could do with updating but it is not bad value when they don’t empty your bank account! Just pay in cash if you’re staying there and avoid that nasty old man on reception who works at night.

I stayed in a room with crumbling old mattresses. The sink and shower were clogged, pooling water. The hotel photos look better than it actually is.

O hotel possui um ótimo custo-benefício para quem está de passagem e vai ficar poucos dias. Fiquei apenas uma noite. Em se tratando do Centro do Rio de Janeiro, fica bem localizado. Próximo ao aeroporto, que era o que eu queria. Na hora de fazer o check in e pagar a estadia a recepcionista iria cobrar um valor mais alto do que o que eu havia fechado no booking. Mostrei o aplicativo para ela e ela então cobrou o valor certo. Contudo isso não foi o que eu menos gostei, na verdade nem me incomodou. O quarto estava com muito cheiro de água sanitária, ficamos com receio porque sou asmática e o cheiro forte me dá crise. Mas colocamos as coisas no quarto, ligamos o ar no mínimo, deixamos a janela aberta para amenizar o cheiro e saímos (e isso funcionou). A parte do banheiro que fica o vaso sanitário é minúscula. Meu namorado é alto e teve que usar o banheiro de porta aberta, de tão pequeno que era o espaço. Apesar da localização ser bem no Centro, o que é ótimo e prático durante o dia, na parte da noite não achamos nada seguro. Preferimos não andar por lá e pedir um lanche pelo ifood. Já havia me hospedado no Ibis Budget de Copacabana e a experiência foi ótima, não teve nenhum problema, por isso não pensei duas vezes na hora de ter escolhido esse. Contudo, não iria novamente nesse

Hotel OK is a little bit better than the business hotel opposite. The rooms are bigger and the air conditioning was good. However, the service wasn't always good. It varied a lot. Sometimes room service picked up, sometimes there was someone behind the lobby bar. I think the hotel is understaffed service wise. Overall, a decent stay. But, would probably stay somewhere a bit more expensive next time.

I left disappointed even tho I had to extend a few time due to the fact that most of the hotels were occupied since it was carnival time. I strongly believe that they could have been more prepaid for the amount of guests and provide more of comfort. They charged for water in the room, I think it should be complementary always. There was a place for a fridge, but no fringe whatsoever. The room was really small and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The lights are too dimmed in the hall that gives you an impression that you’re in a club or something. The staff was friendly and helpful however I would not stay there again. Maybe it’s because of the carnival, normally I would want to believe they do their job much better. For me what was important: Restaurant: I could have dinner at the hotel always: you just pay 45R$ entrance to dining area and you can serve yourself with the buffet fresh made food. I enjoyed this option so much. Location: was very nice, subway is in 10 minutes walk, the Pyramid is in walking distance as well as museum of future and downtown. The beaches are very far, so you should take a taxi or metro. Pool/rooftop: none 🥲

I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.

The room was clean, the only problem I had with the door knob, but no big deal, my problem was the people at the front desk, they made me wait because they were either on the phone or the computer or talking to each other. They didn’t acknowledge me immediately when I arrived, they need to be trained better for hospitality, I was standing in front of them for 5 min or more and they wouldn’t bother to say please give me a minute, nothing that is not the way it was rude. Every agent did the same. They were friendly after but not aware of the time they made me wait when there wa no line, the supervisor was next to the agent and DID nothing either.

We stayed for three nights and ate in the “Opera” restaurant in the hotel. The room was quite large, with an enormous comfortable bed. Very clean and tidy hotel. On the roof terrace there is a bar for drinks and snacks and a small swimming pool. From the terrace you can see the Sugar Loaf Mountain and also Christ the Redeemer statue. The food in the restaurant was of a very good standard delivered by friendly staff, who helped us through our pathetic portuguese. Each night during the week they have a chef’s special. On Wednesday they had roast duck, which was superb. The breakfast has nearly everything you need, both hot and cold. It is situated in the centre of Rio, at Cinelandia, which is perfect for the metro, buses and trams. Highly recommended!

My first 3 days were horrible because they left me in the 3rd floor apt 307 horrible mopho smell, shower with problem that burned me, dirty bed that gave me allergy coffee only cheese bread and sown only, Then they put me in the larger room that was less worse the air was completely dirty and no wet ice cream all the room.

I went with my boyfriend to spend the year tour in Rio and hosted at the hotel, excellent location, next to the Metro and VLT Cineland, in the centre of Rio de Janeiro, the room I stayed had a sack with a pro-sugar-broad boot, bed comfortable, freezer and TV in the room, all simple but clean and organized. Breakfast is very tasty, but the only “bad” point I have to say is, at these times of very guests, they should have more people on the part of the coffee, we had to sit on the tables with dirty dishes and cups of other guests, the The hotel was very comfortable with the hotel, but it was very good to get the hotel ❤️
