After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. The hotel service is very good, the equipment is very new, and it feels safer than the other hotels in this time. The room is large, comfortable, and the location is good. It's not too far away if you drive.

My wife and I stay at this location in Rochester when we go to visit family (about 2-3 times a year). Our stays have always been exceptional, even during the Covid pandemic, during which time Covid restrictions were explained up front at check-in. There are a few employees that recognize us, and spend a few minutes talking with us. Associates at the front desk are always accessible, and address any concerns that we might have, even if it’s just telling them that the coffee urn in the lounge is empty. I’ve noticed that everyone, including maid service staff and maintenance workers always seem to be in a good mood, and interactions among associates is always pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortably arranged. The pool and exercise room are clean and an adequate size. Morning breakfast is always stocked, with a selection that would satisfy most diets. I have no negative comments whatsoever about this location.

My daughter and I stayed overnight for a visit to the University the next day. Austin was helpful, and gave us an amazing upgrade so we would each have a bed. I have never before commented on a hotel bed but it was SO comfortable that I almost overslept (which I never do!). The location was perfect, a short drive/walk to the University of Rochester campus; but still quiet and in a safe and peaceful area. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast but the view of the river from the breakfast area was exceptional. All the staff was so nice. The room was clean and quiet. I definitely recommend Staybridge highly!

There was a feeling of cleanliness and it was a good hotel. The bed was nice. There was no bathtub, but it may be due to the grade of the room. As for breakfast, there was not salad, so vegetables were not taken very much, but American hotel may be such a thing. The gym was pretty good, but the weight equipment was a bit difficult to use. We did not use pool, but it was good to look at from the outside. I couldn't find a good restaurant around. Maybe there was, but I didn't ask the concierge, so I entered a nearby steak restaurant called Mortons. I was overcharged but it has nothing to do with the hotel. Overall it ’s pretty good.

J'ai passé deux nuits à cet hôtel en août, pour des vacances. J'avais choisi cet emplacement à cause de son excellente localisation près de l'autoroute 390 et près de la route 15, qui permet de se rendre facilement au centre-ville de Rochester, et mon choix s'est avéré très utile. Par contre, l'intérieur de l'hôtel s'est avéré très décevant: tapis des corridors crasseux, mauvaise insonorisation (surtout pour le bruit provenant du corridor), saleté des planchers dans la chambre (mes pieds fraichement lavés sont devenus noirs après 5 minutes de marche dans la chambre), comptoir de salle de bain sale, interrupteurs de salle de bain sales, etc. Qui plus est, le personnel ne fait pas respecter le règlement de fumer à plus de 50 pieds de l'hôtel, et il y a en tout temps des fumeurs de cigarettes et de cannabis agglutinés près de la porte d'entrée, des sorties latérales et des fenêtres -- et qui empestent l'air ambiant. Les pancartes demandant de ne pas fumer ne font définitivement pas la job. Ça aiderait peut-être si le management enlevait les bancs en métal placés près des entrées, où les fumeurs s'installent.... D'ailleurs, même l'homme faisant le remplissage des aliments dans la salle à manger sentait la vieille cigarette à 7h00 du matin.... Et, insulte suprême (...) : cet hôtel n'offre pas de thé, ni dans les chambres, ni à la salle à manger. Donc, apportez le vôtre. Autre élément choquant: j'avais une confirmation écrite du tarif pour mon séjour réservé il y a un mois sur le web, mais en arrivant, surprise: je découvre qu'il y a des nouveaux frais ajoutés pour le stationnement, le coffre-fort et les clés de la chambre (...) . J'ai refusé de payer ses frais cachés non annoncés, mais j'ai dû faire cette négociation avec la «front desk manager» car le personnel courant disait ne pouvoir rien faire. Finalement, parlons de la clientèle: je la qualifierais de «non-éduquée». Majoritairement masculine, qui gueule dans les corridors à toute heure du jour et de la nuit, qui sent la transpiration et les cigarettes fumées depuis des jours aux premières heures du jour dans la salle à manger ; les quelques femmes vues se sont, pour leur part, présentées en pyjama pour le déjeuner. La grande classe! Ça vaudrait probablement la peine de remettre un document sur le code de conduite à adopter dans un hôtel, car c'est clair que les voyageurs de cet hôtel ne le savent pas. Bref, c'est un hôtel que j'éviterai à l'avenir, même si je suis membre du programme de loyauté qui inclut cet hôtel.

Everything was great. Check in smooth as was check out. Bar service is always excellent.

The room booked for my daughter, I can't stay in the dormitory early in the school, booked two nights, the room is small, but the foreign rooms are like this, the bed is more comfortable.
