I stayed at Hotel Stromboli During mid August 2026. I have stayed here many times. It is a very convenient hotel near the train station and the Airport Bus. It is also in close proximity to the central Termini museums. The area is good and safe. There is a water fountain a few minuets from the Hotel. There are many places to eat locally and there is a supermarket. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe staying at this hotel and that’s why I return. The room is comfortable and convenient. There is a lift. There is a lobby with a breakfast and coffee area. My room was bigger than expected for a single room with a bigger than expected bed. The bathroom is well equipped with a shower. I had a fridge and a kettle in my room. There is a window with shutters that you can open. There is air conditioning in the room. As I stayed in August during the heatwave my room was comfortable. I like staying at Hotel Stromboli. It’s a great budget price for solo travellers. It’s not really a honeymoon couples love nest. But it’s great for budget travel and I was very comfortable. I didn’t have breakfast do I can’t comment. There are snacks in the lobby. The images are of my single room. I like to walk round Rome and visit the museums. As it’s do central it’s great for this. Take bus 40 or H bus right across Rome it’s near the hotel. Ideal and convenient.

Central location next to stazione termini. Clean room with new bathroom. Comfy bed. Kind staff. Opposite shuttle bus to airport. I got a great deal and fully worth it. Would stay there again.

It's still pretty good overall, but the air conditioning wasn't working very well! Even though the lobby has AC and it wasn't hot at night, if you want it to be really cool, you should seriously consider booking elsewhere.

The facilities are in disrepair, so if you're particular about accommodation, avoid this place. The one star is for the fact that they allow luggage storage, which is decent. The worst part is that my friend came to visit and sit for a bit, and was constantly told not to enter the room. It was really strange; what hotel doesn't allow friends to come in? Definitely avoid.

Right next to Rome's train station, which is great. You just exit Uniqlo's door and it's right there. The facilities are a bit old, but the service is good. I was very happy with the figs at breakfast. The price isn't expensive, and the location is excellent. It's a big plus that some of the staff speak Chinese.

The location was really the best, near the bus and train station, bus straight to the airport just in front of the hotel. The refill water fountain just in front right the corner. With underground supermarket in the train station and walk able to attractions places

The hotel's location is excellent, just a three to five-minute walk from the train station, and there are many supermarkets right below the station. The room was very clean, not huge, but big enough for our luggage. The view from the window was fantastic, very open and expansive. We had a comfortable stay. My only minor suggestion would be about the bathroom's sliding door; the seal is very poor, so shower water leaks out onto the floor. There's no floor drain, so the water has nowhere to go. This meant we had to be very careful in the bathroom to avoid slipping, and water would also get tracked into the main room. This could be quite dangerous, especially for older guests.
