Nice hotel with 2 Onsen (one on the roof overviewing the sea).
Rooms are Japanese style, big and super clean.
Staff was friendly. I recommend.

The breakfast and dinner are amazing. The waiter in the banquet department is very friendly and can introduce a wealth of dinner ingredients in English. Because on the day of check-in, we departed from Shinjuku to Niigata, then took a ferry to Sado Island, and then took a long-distance bus to the scenic spot after arriving. In fact, I was already tired Dead, but after enjoying the open-air hot spring provided by the hotel, it is exhausting. After enjoying the local singing and dancing performances, and with comfortable bedding, you can have a good sleep. This time, this hotel is indeed CP Highly rated hotel

Ideally located for exploring the island and very near the port. The ryokan itself was very welcoming and the room was more like a mini suite with fabulous views of the bay. Dinner was a real experience, with the emphasis on seafood, including a whole crab each on our first night. Parking is just outside the ryokan and is free.

I stayed there for work. I thought it was inevitable because it was an old inn from the Showa era due to the intimidating response from the phone when making reservations, the lack of replies to email inquiries, and the poor service from the front desk upon arrival. However, when I was working in my room during the day, I was disappointed that someone had turned the key to open my room without permission and was able to enter my room for three consecutive days. Is it commonplace in this region, or perhaps it's a method of serving customers that has remained unchanged since the high economic growth era of the Showa era? We do not recommend this to those who are used to modern hotels and accommodations.

加茂湖の目の前なので見晴らしは良かったです。料理は朝は味噌汁以外は冷めていて、お茶は美味しくない。品数も少ない。滞在中２回ご飯に髪の毛が入っていた。温泉の効能などの表示がない、展望風呂は源泉かけ流しらしいが、ぬるいし、鶏の糞が浮いている、展望を楽しむためには立たないとだめで、そうすると容易に外部から見えてしまう。バリアフリーではないのでお年寄りが宿泊すると大浴場に行けない。港への迎えは遅刻してきた。売店はかなりさみしい感じ。夕飯も佐渡に来たから！と期待していたが、普通過ぎる感じでした。料理の品書きもないのでよくわからないものがありました。ドライヤーがかなり古くて乾かすのに時間がかかります。お味噌汁だけは熱々で美味しかったです。
