OMG! This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in! The hostel is very large, the rooms are a little smaller, they are all independent, there is also a separate bathroom outside the door, you can take a shower, separate dry and wet, very clean, the hot water is really great! The lawn is huge, and there is a real bed hanging, you can lie down and take pictures, and put pillows! Hahaha, outside the porch are all that kind of hammocks. The kitchen is also very good, just buy oil and salt, three refrigerators, and a swimming pool, a rest place built with school bus, surrounded by chairs and sofas, there is a beverage hall, there are billiards to play, and a quiet The lounge is very big, and there are two small wooden houses, you can do your own things quietly. There is actually a movie theater! ! ! It's a projector! ! You can watch Youtube and search for Sansei III pillow books. Change the language of Apple TV and remember. There is also a large new concept restaurant with a particularly avant-garde decoration, like that of a domestic shopping mall. It is a bit expensive, 50-70 RMB per person. The bed in the hostel is really great! Two pillows! Very comfortable hotel specifications! Especially new! The quilt is also a solid thick quilt! There are also small lights, a plug and 2 USB jacks! Anyway, it's great! The yard is huge! There are several towering trees that are avocado trees, which bear a lot of fruit, and I just happened to fall one. The staff is good at English, cleans them meticulously, and the toilets are disinfected. So when I used it the next day, it smelled like disinfectant.

We loved Barcelo Guatemala City hotel. We arrived around 7 pm at the airport, the shuttle driver was already waiting for us at the arrival area, the hotel had nice, clean van and it’s only 5 minutes from the airport. Fast check in, the hotel is big and clean, our room was on the 8th floor with 2 balconies. We had a king bed and they provided us with 2 bottled water and a tray of fruits. They have a pool but we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it. Breakfast was very nice, they have different guatemalan food choices for breakfast everyday like fajita, plantains, beans. They also have the usual eggs, bread, cheeses, yogurt, cold cuts and lots of fresh fruits. The servers were so kind. We also ate at the restaurants inside the hotel, Kyoto for japanese cuisine and Strikers for american food. We exchanged currency at the front desk everyday since we don’t know how much money we will spend for every tour. We made Barcelo our base hotel and took tours everyday. We did Hobbitenango, Antigua, Chichicastenango, Guatemala city tour and Lake Atitlan with San Juan la Laguna, which we all booked via Viator, we were lucky that most tours it was only the 2 of us. There is a supermarket Paiz just one block from the hotel where we bought drinks and snacks. The area is very safe and the hotel has 24/7 guards at the lobby and gate. We also booked the shuttle going back to the airport, our flight was at 6am and we took the first shuttle at 4 am, plenty of time to get to the airport, security and immigration. Beautiful colonial hotel in a fantastic location in Antigua, it has a beautiful rooftop with a great view of the city with the added feature of the “I love Antigua” sign. In the rooftop you can go for drinks, a romantic date or simply grab a bite. The room was big, comfortable and kudos to the renovated bathrooms with a great shower. Everyone was very nice, overall great experience

We stayed there for 2 nights and had the amazing chance of being upgraded to a suite for one night at no extra cost. Amazing comfort, warm shower, devoted employees, clean rooms. Well equiped kitchen.
