Ascott Dadonghai Bay Sanya

This hotel is pet-friendly for dogs under 10kg, and my furry friend is exactly 9.7kg, so that was right at the weight limit! I added the concierge on WeChat beforehand to confirm our stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly to my dog the entire time, giving lots of loving pats and greetings. 🥰 The cleaning fee is 500 RMB for the whole stay, so it's a better deal if you're staying for several days. The concierge was very thoughtful. The day before check-in, they called to confirm our arrival time and any special requests, like whether we needed toiletries or how many bottles of drinking water we wanted. We booked a deluxe sea-view one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, fridge, and basic cooking utensils. We were able to buy seafood 🦞 and hot pot broth, which saved us from needing extra seasonings. Our room was on the 19th floor of Building 1. The bedroom faced the mountains ⛰️ and the living/dining area faced the sea 🌊. The view was absolutely amazing, and the orientation was great, so it didn't get too much direct sun. The balcony was super comfortable for enjoying the sea breeze. The hotel has a really cute little street that's perfect for photos. If you're driving, you can park directly in the underground parking space of your building. This made carrying luggage and getting in and out very convenient. In Sanya, underground parking is super important to keep your car out of the sun.

The location, room type, view, and service were all excellent. I would definitely come back and stay longer next time. Highly recommended. Ctrip shared airport transfer: The transfer service was very convenient. caf Sanya International Duty-Free City round-trip shuttle bus (24-hour advance reservation): I didn't use this, but they offer many services.

The room was absolutely fantastic! They even upgraded us for free to a room with an amazing sea view. When we were rushing to the airport and forgot some luggage, the hotel staff went above and beyond to bring it to our car. The service is impeccable, and the environment is wonderful. It's much cleaner and more private than the hotel next door – no messy lobbies or kids running around and shouting (no offense to children, of course!). It really felt like a respected owner returning home. We rented a car, and they even had free underground parking. Everything about this place is superb!

Overall, my stay was fantastic. The hotel staff provided excellent service; the butler was always quick to address any requests. The room was really convenient, allowing for laundry and cooking. There were quite a few Chinese guests, and the breakfast suited my taste perfectly. All the included perks were very practical. The complimentary travel photoshoot was a pleasant surprise and very satisfying. The photographer was very meticulous, discussing locations and styles beforehand. The shoot itself wasn't tiring, and the final photos turned out great!

The room was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the cleaning staff did a meticulous job. It was a wonderful stay! Downstairs, there's a pool and gym, and the pool was very clean and comfortable.

The ladies at the front desk were very helpful. However, the facilities are a bit old, especially the hairdryer (I don't think any place uses these old-fashioned hairdryers anymore). I always choose this brand of serviced apartment if available, but the experience here wasn't as good as the Ascott I stayed at in Nanjing.

The room was fantastic, and I was really satisfied with the service. The location is also super convenient. Everything I needed was provided, and it offered great value for money. I stayed here for the first four days of my trip, and even after moving to The Edition, I still wished I could go back. I just couldn't get enough of it! Next time, I won't bother changing hotels; I'll definitely stay here again.
