This review is written as a courtesy to other travelers & constructive feedback to property management. I booked 3 nights and expected budget accommodations that were clean. To be fair, technically it mostly was. The check in was friendly and the room was private, quiet and accommodating.
What startled me tho was a discoloration on the comforter that looked like something bad happened. The manager came to my room and confirmed it was clean, just a dye misprint from the time it came out of the package. I was hoping for a swap of comforters or even a sheet to put over it since the appearance was very disturbing. At least I knew it was clean & could put it inside out so I didn’t have to look at it. The sheets were old, stained and had cigarette burns. At least they were clean. However they were so old and over washed over time that they were clingy, very uncomfortable. The pillow itself was old and smelled like dirty scalp. The odor kept me up. Instead of checking out, I decided to purchase sheets & pillows to use there & then take home. That helped a lot. Next issue: toilet paper. Day one, a little over half a roll of budget paper, no spare roll. I figured they would at least provide a spare roll when they cleaned the room. They didn’t. Morning of day 3, we ran out. Good thing I had a package of tissues in my bag. I left a note asking for more TP & they did provide a new roll & a spare. Last issue: hard powdered coffee creamer all 3 days. Overall I felt a lack of hospitality.
