Hotel the Designers Jongro

I stayed at a hotel right next to Jongno 3-ga Station, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Seoul. I first discovered the area on TikTok — people kept talking about “Hipjiro,” the nickname locals use for Euljiro, famous for its trendy bars, cozy cafés, and hidden alley spots — and I’m so glad I chose to stay nearby. The location was perfect. It was easy to reach Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, Myeongdong, and Dongdaemun by subway or bus, and several traditional markets were just a short walk away. My room was spotless and modern. The bed was super comfortable with fresh, soft linens — perfect after a long day of exploring. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, and I really appreciated having a safe in the room to store my valuables. The lobby offered thoughtful amenities — a currency exchange machine, a luggage scale, and even free laundry facilities, which made my stay so convenient. There was also a 24-hour snack corner, so I could grab a quick bite or drink anytime, even late at night. Those small touches truly made a big difference and showed how much the hotel cares about its guests. What really stood out to me was how everything just worked — no stress, no hassle, just pure comfort. I honestly didn’t expect to love this place as much as I did, but it completely exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m already planning to come back — this hotel will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I visit Seoul!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Seoul! The location was superb — very close to Jongno 3-ga Station and the airport bus stop, making arrival and departure so much easier. Especially since Myeongdong was nearby, it was perfect for shopping. The hotel’s amenities were thoughtful and useful. On the first floor, there was free ice, and the coffee was delicious. There was also a luggage scale and a vending machine selling portable batteries — very handy when your devices run low. Best of all, they offer free bike rentals, and since the weather was amazing, riding along Cheonggyecheon and exploring the city by bike became a truly special and unforgettable experience. Because of that, I definitely want to come back! The staff were very friendly, and communication was smooth every step of the way. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, and the TV was large with free Netflix access, which was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep every night. One thing I loved is how many restaurants and cafes are around — though it was a “good problem” deciding where to eat, since everything I tried was tasty. There were still places I couldn’t try, which left me wanting more. All in all, this hotel offered comfort, convenience, and warm service. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul — highly recommended!

We loved the location of this place and the service was really great. There's even a free washer and dryer to do your laundry which makes it so convenient travelling with kids. The rooms aren't amazing but good enough for a short stay. We enjoyed having bath tubs with jets and the kids enjoyed it as well. Would come back as there are so many great restaurants all around within walking distance.
