Amid Hotel Seoul

I stayed for 5 days. For the first three days, they didn't refill the cotton pads or teabags. I only got them refilled on the fourth day when I saw the housekeeper and asked her. When the air conditioning turns on automatically, there's a really loud starting noise, which is disturbing when you're trying to sleep. The soundproofing in the room isn't very good. The only good thing was the washing machine; it wasn't used much, so I didn't have to wait. The hotel is close to Insadong, which is a nice area to walk around.

The front desk staff speaks a little English, so communication was mostly fine. The lobby tends to get crowded around lunchtime, probably because there are many office buildings nearby. The elevators were quick. The hotel entrance and facade look quite nice. However, the cleaning staff's tidiness and cleaning work were just average.

The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around with plenty of facilities nearby for shopping and dining. The price is reasonable, offering great value for money, and I definitely recommend it. The stay was comfortable and peaceful, the environment was clean, and the service was attentive. Highly recommended!

The room was quite spacious and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. It's conveniently located with plenty of food and drink options nearby. A bus and subway station are about a 10-minute walk away, which made getting around super easy. We were really close to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. They provide two bottles of mineral water every day, and the cleaning staff was wonderful – always greeting us with a smile. They cleaned our room every single day during our 5-day stay!

This is a beautiful hotel in a great area. It could have been perfect if the room wasn't constantly hot. The air conditioning in the room was very weak; during the day, you couldn't feel it at all, and the room heated up like an oven. It was good that we could open the window at night. In Korea, that's already a luxury! The AC only worked well in the lobby and on the floor where the WOWPASS machine is located. At night, they also turned off the air conditioning in the elevator. Overall, because I was constantly hot and stuffy, I couldn't truly enjoy this hotel, even though it has a good location, nice staff, and everything was clean.

The location is great, close to both Line 2 and Line 5. There are a lot of food options nearby, and it's essentially right next to Insadong. The room was too small; we couldn't even open both of our suitcases. Also, the breakfast selection was very limited, just a cup of instant noodles every day.

The hotel isn't on the main street, so the surroundings are very quiet. The soundproofing is actually quite good, unless the room next door is being really loud (the mom next to us yelled at her kids incredibly loudly for two days straight). The housekeeping staff in the morning are also very quiet and gentle. You can take airport bus 6002 to Jongno 2-ga Station, cross the road, and take the small road to the left. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 7 of Jonggak subway station. The hotel breakfast is just okay, but the samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) downstairs is absolutely delicious and a must-try – honestly, it was the best food we've had on our several trips here! However, it's closed on Sundays. The downsides of the room are that the curtains don't close completely, always letting in some light, and the light switch is right above the bed, which is a bit bright. Another thing to note is that our room door doesn't automatically shut; you have to pull it firmly to close it properly. This led to us finding the door ajar multiple times, so the hotel really needs to fix that. Toothbrushes were provided free of charge.

Excellent hotel! Its central location makes it easy to get to all the attractions quickly. There's also a 24-hour convenience store very close by. The staff themselves are very polite. Room cleaning was done daily.

Excellent service and a convenient location, highly recommended for business travelers! There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, close to a snack street, and lots of shopping options. All in all, definitely worth recommending!
