Toyoko-Inn Seoul Gangnam

Direct airport bus 6009 goes straight to the hotel. You can store your luggage in advance. It's surrounded by a bustling neighborhood with convenience stores and chain restaurants. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, as it's an interchange station with a shopping street in between. It takes about 15 minutes from the hotel entrance to actually reach the Line 2 turnstiles. It's a small but complete Japanese-style hotel.

This hotel is super convenient! There's a 6009 airport shuttle stop right downstairs that takes you directly to the airport. Plus, it's really close to Jiangnan Station on Line 2 and Xingsha Station, which is also handy. Overall, the transportation is excellent; you can get pretty much anywhere in about 30 minutes, which is great. However, the front desk staff gave us the wrong time for the airport shuttle *to* the airport. We waited for nearly an hour at the bus stop, only to find out from the big screen that the service had already stopped for the night. I even triple-checked with the staff member, specifically asking if there was still a bus at 9 PM, and he confidently assured me there was. This almost made me miss my flight! Thankfully, I had checked into the hotel a day in advance.

The Gangnam area is quite comfortable, and both the subway and bus are convenient. The room was small, but it was fine for us since we only had backpacks. They provided two bottles of water daily, emptied the trash, and changed towels. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was enough to fill you up.

Consistently great, as always! I love this hotel; it's clean, hygienic, and the service is excellent. The front desk staff are so warm and welcoming. It's truly a wonderful place. I stayed here last year when I visited Seoul, and I'm happy to stay here again this year.

Whenever I visit Seoul, Toyoko Inn is always my top choice. The rooms are clean and tidy, and although small, they're incredibly functional. The location is super convenient; it's within walking distance to the Gangnam business district, and the Line 2 subway station is very close by!
