LOTTE CITY HOTEL MYEONGDONG Reviews

This is a comfortable business hotel under the Lotte brand. The location is great, with a subway entrance just a short walk downstairs, and Myeongdong's main shopping street is only a few minutes away on foot. There's a 7-Eleven on the ground floor, a GS25 convenience store nearby, and plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. The hotel's public areas are stylishly decorated, though the rooms are a bit standard, typical for a business hotel, but you can see the tall buildings of major companies through the glass windows. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can self-check-in and check-out. There's a self-service gym and laundry room on the third floor. The service from all departments was very warm and attentive.

Underwhelming - small rooms, faulty room appliances, construction noise. Only location is somewhat good with.

Old facilities, not enough staff. No room service. If you want/need in room dining, you need to order delivery food and pick it up at reception. No bath tub, old rooms, old soft mattress. Old dusty floor rug and curtains. Only 3 elevators, instead of standard 6 for this tower size. Always waiting for crowded elevators. Breakfast coffee machines are always broken. Pastries one morning were chewy, clearly re-used from the previous day. Some breakfast items were random, a caprese salad which was tomato and mozzarella, one morning possibly they ran out of tomatoes and put syrup fruits with mozzarella instead (see photo). Overall, it is a very pricey low quality hotel, certainly not a 4 star hotel. Location is ok, but you can find better in Myeongdong, ibis, royal hotel are directly at the commercial street, this one still need to walk. Avoid this hotel.

Great location to the night market, cathedral, art museum, and restaurants, all within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Coffee shop and 7-11, will a c25 convenient store across the street.

Location is perfect near the transportations, near shopping centres, very clean facilities, friendly stuff, Center in downtown very safe,

Excellent location.

The lobby staff on the ground floor were incredibly helpful. They assisted with phone calls and even arranged taxis for us.

Great location, just across a main road from Myeongdong. The room was a bit small, but everything else was good.

Convenient location, there is 7-11 downstairs, clean and organised hotel. Downside is that lifts are slow.

The service and environment were both excellent, no complaints there. The only minor drawback was that the room was a bit too small. However, it's conveniently located not too far from Myeongdong. This time, due to time constraints, I didn't get to try the hotel's breakfast.

I hope these areas can be improved for a better experience on my future visits.

Great location, only a few minutes' walk to Myeongdong! It's a bit noisy though due to the construction site next door.

Good hotel very good location a 7-Eleven and Angelinus cafe within the building precinct. Bathroom and shower are excellent staff are efficient if not overly friendly. Sometimes a little slow to make up room and waiting time for the lifts can be unusually long for a hotel of this style, but these are very minor concerns when put in overall context of the pleasantness of the stay.
