Dwight and Sally were incredible hosts. They’ve added so many little thoughtful extras to the experience to make it special. We stayed in the Hideaway on Quail Lake Cottage room. Our room was immaculate, the bed one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on, and Brandon’s breakfasts on the patio overlooking the pond were a spectacular way to start the day. The location was central to our daily adventures-Hurricane Ridge, Tongue Point/Salt Creek Recreation Area, and the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge and Lighthouse. We highly recommend Lost Mountain Lodge!

We enjoyed a great 5-night stay at Lost Mountain Lodge in July. It exceeded all of our expectations and was a central part of our Pacific Northwest vacation. We prefer staying in B&B's when we travel and Lost Mountain Lodge was tied for the best B&B in our experience! Check-in was very easy. Dwight greeted us, explained everything we needed to know about the lodge, our room, breakfast, etc. Additionally he told us about everything Sequim and the surrounding area has to offer -- restaurants, whale watching the National Park, Victoria, BC, the Makah Reservation and much more. He's obviously passionate about his B&B and equally passionate and knowledgable able all there is to do and see in the area. We stayed in the Creekside Suite which was absolutely enormous and very comfortable. It has one of the most comfortable (and largest!) beds we've ever slept in. An added bonus was our own, private deck looking out on Lost Mountain's lovely property. Everything you need or could want was provided. We ate breakfast al fresco every day, enjoying great weather and beautiful scenery -- pine trees, pond and a mother/baby pair of hawks who talked to each other every day. Breakfast varied each day -- eggs, fruit, French toast, etc. -- all quite good. We were even provided a cooler for our hike into the National Park. In sum, everything about Lost Mountain Lodge was very comfortable, inviting and top-rate. It is beautifully decorated as well. We just wish it wasn't 3,000 miles from home but we'll be back nonetheless.

Loved Lost Mountain Lodge! Loved the deck and surrounding gardens. Loved the Moonbeam Suite and delicious breakfast. Helpful, informative staff. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Sequim or near the north entrance to Olympic National Park.

Located in a hidden area outside Sequim, it offers beauty, comfort, a helpful staff and a delicious breakfast. Cathy helped us plan our trip around the peninsula, suggesting places to eat and ‘not to miss’ waterfalls and hiking trails. Brandon’s breakfasts were adapted to meet our dietary needs and were delicious. Our room was spotless, comfortable and roomy. Dwight’s backyard property was reminiscent of Monet’s home in France. We hope we will be able to return.

We only had 2 days to get away and relax while we were in the Pacific Northwest, and we were delighted that we chose Lost Mountain Lodge. What a gem! The wonderful host, Dwight, gave us great suggestions for making the most of our time in Sequim and Olympic National Park. We highly recommend it. We hope to return for a longer visit.

Wow. We loved everything about this lodge. The area was so peaceful. The lodge is beautiful, every bit of it was so clean and laid back. Dwight was so very helpful with directions and info on the area. Easy driving to several areas we had planed to visit, was so nice to come back after a long day to such a nice place. The front porch and back patio are incredible. The breakfasts served were fantastic and so filling it carried us through the day of sight seeing and exploring. We highly recommend this location and can't wait to return. One warning, you will be spoiled and it might ruin you to other locations.

It's been a long time since we stayed at a B&B and had the "lodge" experience. After staying at many Airbnbs, which have been great, this was such an upgrade. We forgot what it was like to be taken care of. Beautiful surroundings, luxury accommodations with solid upscale furniture, top notch comfort bedding (very important to us), beautiful artwork, and lots of thoughtful spaces that allowed us to unpack and get settled in. The innkeeper, Dwight, is a wealth of knowledge in the area providing hiking maps, state park information, and tips on what to do, where to eat, and all proved to be spot on! Breakfast was chef prepared for us each morning at the main house with fresh coffee, juices, and much more! This is the real deal. We will be back!

Lost Mountain could not have been more wonderful! It truly was a home away from home for this East Coast family traveling to the Pacific Northwest for the first time. It’s location is very convenient to all of the Olympic National Park sites. The Guest House was spacious and perfect for us and our 2 teenagers. The kitchen was well appointed. Clover, who greeted us, was warm and helpful… even offering to pick up s’mores for us one afternoon! The only thing we missed was a chance to explore the grounds of this beautiful property because we ran out of time! I’ve already encouraged friends and family to check it out and we hope to return someday soon.

We arrived for our third visit in two years at this incredibly lovely and peaceful lodge, located partway up lost mountain, just after a major snowstorm. So, everything was white and beautiful. The innkeeper met us on time and saw that we had everything we needed for our three-night stay. The Hideaway on Quail Lake is spacious, yet cozy and warm in the winter. It is located across the small lake from the main lodge. Breakfasts, served in the main lodge, are incredibly good. Sequim is not a large city, but it gets a lot of tourists, so there is a good choice of decent restaurants, many of which provide excellent take-out fare. There are interesting shops and galleries to see as well. However, if you want to see Sequim shop and restaurant life at its best, January is not probably your best time to go. There is an incredible inventory of outdoor activity (vigorous as well as sedentary) to partake of in and around Sequim. It has become one of my favorite getaways for a long weekend.
