Regent Shanghai on The Bund

Great location! You can walk to attractions like the North Bund, The Bund, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and Waibaidu Bridge, making it perfect for a city walk. The minibar is free, and breakfast is a semi-buffet with à la carte options – a wide variety and delicious. The concierge service is excellent; they called before arrival and after departure to ask about needs and feedback. The staff at check-in and the bellhops were also very attentive.

I booked a Bund-view luxury king room and had requested a green-themed room in advance. The day before check-in, a hotel staff member called to confirm. The overall experience was wonderful. Since I was looking for a staycation, the exquisite and luxurious decor was my priority, with the view coming second. However, I must say this is probably the best hotel to see Shanghai's 'three-piece suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers). After check-in, a butler escorted me to my room and introduced all the features. Snacks and fruits were already set up in the room, adding a nice touch of ceremony. The first round of the minibar is complimentary, with two alcoholic beverages incurring an extra charge, which the butler clearly explained. The breakfast is a semi-buffet, and both the terrace and indoor views are absolutely stunning. I also have to mention that takeout orders are delivered to your room by staff, which is a very thoughtful service. I look forward to staying here again.

This hotel is a beautifully renovated historic building with elegant design and a rich cultural atmosphere. The views are absolutely unbeatable, and the breakfast is delicious. Every aspect of the service was warm and responsive to our needs, and Bailey was particularly attentive.

Amenities and services were great! I really loved the green marble. Had a minor issue with the invoice, but it was resolved quickly after a phone call.

The views from the Haiou Regent are truly top-notch! I booked a green-themed room in advance and it was super comfortable, with excellent facilities and a very clean room. The service was also incredibly attentive; the greeters were all very welcoming, and Miss Bailey from the concierge team was particularly thoughtful. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

There's so much to praise! This must be one of the newer hotels near the Bund. The room design is quite unique, and the panoramic view from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower to the Waibaidu Bridge is absolutely stunning. My stay was wonderful. The service was also exceptional, with many thoughtful touches. There's a butler service (big thanks to Angel for being so responsive to all my requests!), daily laundry or ironing/drying service for up to three items, and even food delivery right to your room (which is fantastic!). Things that could be improved: The room layout felt a bit smaller compared to other hotels, possibly due to its wave-shaped design. The soundproofing was a bit lacking, and the 'do not disturb' button occasionally stopped working after some time. Also, the overall quality of the bedding was slightly inferior to other hotels. Overall, it was a surprisingly delightful stay, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The room was exquisite with excellent facilities. The location is superb and convenient, offering a breathtaking view.

The staff were incredibly friendly, especially our butler Jane, who helped us with so many things! Plus, this Regent has the most generous complimentary mini-bar I've ever seen, with tons of drinks and snacks. It's an unbelievably good deal!

Daily laundry service for 3 items or ironing and drying service: Great👍 The room is a bit small. Breakfast was good.
