Holiday Inn Express SHANGHAI PUDONG AIRPORT by IHG ★★★
"Very close to the airport, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Pudong International Airport, making it suitable for business travelers."
Ibis Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station) ★★★
"The overall environment is clean and comfortable, the room decor is cozy, and the hygiene is exceptionally well-maintained with all necessary amenities provided. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very warm and attentive, quick to respond to requests, and offer meticulous service. It was quiet and pleasant during my stay, offering excellent value for money. I had a perfect experience and highly recommend it to everyone! [Strong]"
Hotel Chalet Shanghai ★★★★
Discover a cozy, modern hotel in Shanghai, offering comfortable rooms, friendly service, and easy access to local attractions and public transit.
Da Zhong Airport Hotel ★★★
"I had an early flight and wanted to avoid a tiring journey, so I decided to stay at an airport hotel the night before. This hotel is conveniently located right between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You can take the elevator down from the middle section of the North and South Towers, and then it's just a few minutes' walk to either terminal, which is really handy. However, the hotel facilities are quite old, and as soon as I opened the door, there was a musty smell. Definitely not good value for money."
Yitel Premium (Shanghai people's Square Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street) ★★★★
"My second time staying in Yitel Premium was great. What is amazing about this hotel is the location as it’s basically right on Nanjing Pedestrian Road! Would recommend if you want to stay in the center of Shanghai."
Shanghai Baoan Hotel ★★★★
"The overall decor is quite old, and the carpets have stains, although it's clear they've tried their best to clean them. The age of the hotel is visibly apparent. The hairdryer's power is very weak, so much so that it can't even dry short hair. When I called the front desk, they said there were no other hairdryers available, so I wouldn't recommend washing your hair at the hotel. Other facilities are comparable to the hairdryer's condition. I suggest the hotel consider a small-scale upgrade of some basic infrastructure."
Crowne Plaza SHANGHAI NANJING ROAD by IHG ★★★★★
"The staff told me my room had been upgraded, but upon checking in, I found that my king room had been 'upgraded' to a twin room. Although they eventually switched me back to a king room, it turned out to be two twin beds pushed together. There was a 20cm gap on both sides of the bed from the nightstands. And they called this an upgrade! The entire process of handling and communicating with me, a solo traveler, was completely dismissive. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel and won't be staying here again!"
Tianhua Hotel Shanghai People's Square Nanjing Road Walkway ★★
"I actually wanted to stay in a different hotel (the one I stayed before), but it was fully booked so I chose this one and I had a very pleasant stay, even though it was just for one night. I got a better room than I originally booked. I'm a fan of loft flats, so it was a surprise for me lol It's quite small, but very cosy. The room was very clean, had everything needed for a stay. The staff doesn't speak English, even though it's almost a city centre of Shanghai, so prepare a translator. But still was helpful. I surely will stay here again and would recommend this place. The location is great as well."
Shanghai Bund Riverside Treasury Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel's location is great and the environment is nice. Coco and Junjun were both excellent."

Park Hotel Shanghai
"Whenever I visit Shanghai, the Park Hotel is my go-to. The transportation is excellent; it's right outside the subway exit. The facilities are top-notch, making for a very comfortable stay. It's a century-old establishment, rich in history, and that's precisely the experience I seek when coming to Shanghai. You can feel Shanghai's essence amidst its historical traces, where the 'Magic City' blends reality with its past – that's its charm. Located on Nanjing Road, you can walk to all the major attractions. They even deliver their famous 'butterfly crisp' pastries directly to your room, which is incredibly convenient. The room service is also excellent. In short, I'm always very satisfied with my stay. The hotel lobby even houses the geographical origin point of Shanghai, and when you're tired, you can relax in the lobby cafe, listening to music – it's so comfortable. This is how a vacation should be."
Intercity Hotel Shanghai Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street The Bund
"This is a newly opened hotel, very clean and tidy, with spacious rooms. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. There are also several century-old restaurants nearby, so dining options are plentiful. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even offering an extra late-night snack, which I really appreciate even though I didn't get to use it. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai."
Shanghai Yunzhi Homestay
"The rooms are clean and tidy, and the owner is incredibly welcoming. The owner's wife is also lovely; they offer free shuttle services to the subway and Disneyland. Plus, it's quite close to Disneyland. This is my second time booking here."
The Bund Puyan Hotel, Shanghai
"The hotel has a great location and the staff are very helpful. They offer free self-service laundry and a gym. It's only 300 meters to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and the nearby Metro Line 2 and Line 10 make it super convenient to get to the train station and the airport.💗💗💗💗"
Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao
"Great location, very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with good lighting and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The service was warm and attentive, and the overall value for money was excellent. This will be my first choice for future stays!"
JinLing Purple Mountain Hotel Shanghai

Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World
"It exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, and the hotel is large and comfortable. The room was spacious with incredible views; we were very lucky. The breakfast was VERY comprehensive. We didn't interact with the hotel staff, but everything worked perfectly, so I have no complaints. By the way, they have a very well-equipped gym for a hotel."
Ocean Hotel Shanghai
"My child wanted to see Fair Road Wharf, so I booked a room for May Day. They upgraded our room type, which made our stay even more spacious, and the view from the window was also great. You can tell it's an established hotel; the service is very professional. The swimming pool is 1.5 meters deep throughout, so it's not very suitable for children who can't swim."
Wheatfield Watch House
"The room was clean, and the hotel also provided shuttle service for airport and Disneyland park pick-up and drop-off, which was very convenient. Our flight arrived at 2:30am, so the hotel was unable to provide the shuttle service at that time, but we still managed to get a DIDI easily. The hotel is located quite far from Shanghai town area, and there were no restaurants nearby, which made it a little inconvenient for food options. However, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making transportation still convenient. The breakfast was very simple and the menu was the same throughout our 3-day stay. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay ✨"
