the Shanghai EDITION

Came here with my mom to check out The Edition, and it was fantastic! Not only is the location great, but the ambiance and service are top-notch. They're so accommodating and quick to resolve any issues. I really loved it and will definitely be back! P.S. The bathroom is super Instagrammable!

My family and I really loved the room's minimalist Scandinavian/Japanese style, with its natural wood and white tones. It's a welcome change from the 'nightclub' vibe of the W Hotel we stayed at before – I actually prefer this! The pillows are really soft and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent; I especially enjoyed sitting in the 1st-floor restaurant, watching the diverse crowd from all over the world pass by on Nanjing Road. Our room had a side window with a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, which is exactly why I booked this room. As for cleanliness, it goes without saying for a hotel of this caliber. The overall atmosphere is fantastic, and the best part is that you can truly relax and be yourself. Lewis, a staff member, was very professional and provided excellent service. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, they offer complimentary valet parking for one car per room, which was quite convenient. When we picked up the car, a few staff members even mentioned they were from my hometown, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The room was clean and tidy with no strange smells, and the bedding was comfortable. Yona and Colin provided warm and efficient service, responding to our needs promptly. Communication was smooth when we had questions. Overall, we felt right at home, and I will choose this hotel again for my next trip.

An absolutely delightful stay! The hotel's location is superb, right next to Nanjing Road, and getting to the Bund is a breeze. The overall design is very tasteful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. The staff were warm and friendly, and their service was meticulous and thoughtful. The hotel's restaurant and public areas also had a great ambiance. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose The EDITION again when I'm back in Shanghai!

This was my first time staying at The EDITION in Shanghai, and my two-day experience was absolutely fantastic. The location is excellent, right by Nanjing Road, and the Bund view from the window was spectacular. The hotel's attention to detail was exceptional, and the room was very comfortable and cozy. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, especially Lewis and Raymond, who checked in with me daily. They were professional and attentive, and I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. However, the room was incredibly small, and the soundproofing was poor, even waking me up in the middle of the night once. The price was also very high. The staff, though, were exceptionally professional and helpful, but unfortunately, the hotel's facilities are quite limited.

This stay was absolutely perfect, a solid five stars! The hotel's location is fantastic, making it super convenient for shopping. The room was spotless, not a hint of any unpleasant smells, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable – perfect for resting after a day of shopping with friends. The common areas were also impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. Bonnie at the front desk was incredibly efficient during check-in and was consistently gentle and patient. She went above and beyond, proactively offering tips on exploring the area and navigating transportation. She answered all our questions thoroughly, demonstrating both professionalism and a thoughtful approach. In fact, all the staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, truly deserving of a five-star rating. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai!
