SS Hotel Shanghai International Resort Reviews

So disappointed in this hotel , first the location was ok in a village but it had shops NO coffee shops FYI. the indoor playground was useful , and a nice addition. But let’s start with how we checked in , we got the themed room and omg. This room looked liked it wasn’t cleaned , hence the pictures. It’s disgusting to Even have a room like this. I went to lobby and told them and showed the pic of the table , they called the ayi to clean. We came back and yes the desk was cleaned but look at the ledge of the window like wow. It’s not worth the price for sure , my friend same thing her room was so dirty and when she complained they laughed at her as well. Also , BF very Chinese. So get ready , and no CoFfee oh my. Definitely not staying here again. Bus shuttle last one 8;30 am and come back 2 times as night. 10:00 pm last bus.

The room was big enough but smelled and was dusty. When I asked them to clean again they were laughing at me. Not a professional service and attitude. Bed was big enough. Bathroom was old and not cleaned well also.

It's really close to Disney, so that's good. We didn't spend much time there, but it was fine.

We came to Shanghai just to go to Disneyland so we were only looking for somewhere super close to the park that was affordable as the Disney hotels are quite expensive. This hotel is a real gem. It’s 15mins and 20 - 40¥ in a didi to the park, although the hotel also offers a shuttle in the morning if you want to go to the park for opening. We were upgraded on arrival to a slightly larger room that had a double bed and single bed and they were disney themed which was a nice touch. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need. The staff are also super helpful and friendly especially Zhao Yang, he helped us from the moment we arrived. He was great with giving us some advice for getting to Disney and the airport and also helped us ship our Disney purchases home as this was the first part of our trip. Overall a great stay and I’ll definitely be back for my next Disney trip. Thanks

The front desk was very welcoming. The hotel is very cost-effective and the service is very considerate. It is very close to Disneyland and there is a free shuttle bus. It is very good whether you are out for fun or on a business trip. No matter how late you call, the front desk lady will answer patiently. She will also deliver toothpaste and toothbrush if you need them at night. In short, it is very good. I highly recommend everyone to book this hotel.

The room was so unhygienic. There were bugs crawling on the bed. I slept there for one night and was bitten by bugs the next day... I was speechless

It was a bit noisy in the middle of the night, and then there was no robot to deliver food. Then the curtains woke me up in the morning, but the front desk service was good and worthy of praise. It was not bad. There was a lot of food nearby so I didn’t worry about going hungry.
