Shanghai Putuo District Hotels

The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were super welcoming. The breakfast had a great variety too! The hotel's location is excellent, right by Suzhou Creek and very close to the subway station. This trip, my main goal was to take my child to the Shanghai Natural History Museum and see the UFC Fight Night, and both were very close and convenient. Getting to The Bund was also a breeze. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai! It's also really close and convenient to Disneyland, with a direct line on Metro Line 11.

Facilities: Great, very complete. Though small, it has everything you need. Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, the bedding was very quiet (comfortable). Environment: Surrounded by residential buildings, with many breakfast shops downstairs. Very convenient for breakfast in the morning. Service: The front desk staff had a good attitude. Free snacks & coffee: There's free coffee and small snacks available at the front desk. The fridge, printer, and microwave can all be used for free. Highly recommend!

Pretty good, and the service was nice too. The room having a window for ventilation is a big plus, much better than many other hotels. The air conditioning wasn't noisy, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places to eat and convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient.

For this trip to Shanghai, I still chose Home Inn, and I'm very satisfied. The room was very clean. It can get quite humid in the south when it rains, so I thought the room might be a bit damp, but it was surprisingly dry and comfortable. The best part is that I got an upgrade to a 1.8m king-sized room. Home Inn's quality is consistently good.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station. The entire hotel feels quite new, the room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft and comfy, I slept like a baby. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the lightning-fast room service, all the staff were friendly and polite. Even the cleaning aunties in the hallway would greet guests politely, which was very endearing. The whole experience was comfortable, and the price was incredibly reasonable. It was almost half the price of a hotel we stayed at in Jing'an Temple recently, yet the facilities here were far superior. To get this level of quality at this price point, the value for money is absolutely unbeatable!

My child had an exam nearby, so I wanted to find a close place to rest. I'd seen this hotel being renovated and thought I'd give it a try. I arrived earlier than my check-in time and asked if there was an available room I could get into sooner. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes until a room was ready, and then they gave me the key card. Upon entering, it was clear the room had just been cleaned – the floor was still wet, a sign it had just been mopped. It had a smart toilet, and I didn't use the shower. The hand soap was verbena-scented, and there were two bottles of Nongfu Spring bottled water. Being on the side facing the residential area, it was relatively quiet. The air conditioning was powerful. The TV was a Skyworth smart TV, which allowed for on-demand content and screen mirroring. There's a small booth seating area with cushions and a small coffee table in the room, which is great for eating and means you're not just confined to the bed. Everything I've mentioned so far was satisfactory, but now for a pretty critical issue. As shown in image three, this huge bag of trash was left outside my door from 10 AM until 2:30 PM. It was ridiculous. Every time I went in or out, I could smell the garbage. There's actually a partition between rooms a bit further down; if it had been placed even 5 or 10 meters further away, I wouldn't have had to complain. This was particularly disappointing. The trash caused significant air pollution and was a very unpleasant experience. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and properly trains and assesses its service staff.

This hotel was definitely the highlight of my trip to Shanghai. The location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Zhongning Road Station on Metro Line 14. There are several coffee shops nearby, including Starbucks, Manner, and Luckin, plus a 7-Eleven right next door. If you're driving, it's also very easy as there's a free underground parking lot with direct elevator access to the lobby. They even have slow chargers in the parking spaces, which is great for new energy vehicles. The hotel facilities are quite new, and I was really happy with the spacious and clean room. The overall service was excellent too; they called me a day in advance to confirm my check-in details and even helped with navigation for driving. The front desk staff were wonderfully soft-spoken during check-in. To my surprise, the breakfast spread was extensive, and they even offered late-night snacks! I hope to have the chance to stay here again.

Second stay at this hotel. The security is professional, and the breakfast is plentiful. The room is quiet and comfortable, with soft lighting and clean, sleep-inducing bedding. The linens are clean and soft, making them reassuring to use. The front desk staff are polite and attentive, making you feel right at home!

Cons: On my first day, I was shocked to be given a room that had clearly been used. They eventually switched me to a new room, but I'm guessing it was a staff oversight? Pros: I've stayed here multiple times, and I honestly think the value for money is really good. The location is also very convenient because there's a subway station nearby.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, making it suitable for both business trips and tourism. It's especially close to the Bund, where hotel prices are usually very high. Compared to those, this place offers great value for money. The room facilities are comprehensive, including a washing machine and a refrigerator, plus complimentary drinks. Housekeeping service is provided daily, and the service is also very good. I highly recommend it!
