Bourne Hall Country Hotel

Fabulous stay and can highly recommend. Great staff, food, location . Very comfortable hotel. All our needs were met. Staff so friendly and accomdating. Food was excellent Thorough enjoyed our stay. We are Isle of Wight residents and stayed on the Price is Wight deal which was great value for money. Fantastic art work from Tanya Outen throughout the hotel and her hand made Jewellery is on display at the hotel Thankyou to all at Bourne Hall.

My sister and I stayed for 4 nights with our local coach company, very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, food was very good and would definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant overnight stay. Delicious food. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful bedroom. Sea view. Nice old building - modern inside and tastefully decorated.

We stayed at Bourne Hall last weekend. We were welcomed by the lovely Tom, he was very informative and an all around lovely, friendly man. He is a real asset to the team, always had a smile on his face. Our room was very basic, but it was nice and clean. We were told we had a seaview, but we didn't. But we didn't mind too much. We were greeted at the bottom of the stairs by Tom for dinner which I thought was a lovely touch. He took our orders for dinner. I ordered the stir fry which I didn't realise was vegetarian, but Tom said he'd asked them to add some chicken which they kindly did. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing! We had a starter and a main, and it was extremely tasty. The bed was nice and comfy and the bathroom was basic but clean. They may want to think about investing in a new television, we had the worlds smallest TV propped up on the dressing table at the end of our bed. Breakfast was delicious. In a nutshell, our room was basic but the food and more importantly the customer service we received were tip top!

We both have mobility issues, and because of the steepness of the location, and the steep garden, it was unsuitable for us. Because Bourne Hall had recently changed hands, the bedroom, bathroom, and much of the hotel were very tired. The food and staff, were very good. Sadly, we will not be going back. We've stayed many times in hotels on Keats Green in Shanklin, where it was more level, better placed for the amenities, and the hotels had a more modern decor.

Beautiful room with four poster bed, chaise longe and sofa which an incredible sea view. Lovely old house with many original features. Breakfast was delicious and staff were excellent, polite and friendly...........................

Had an amazing 2 night stay for Valentines last week; the hotel itself is really stunning, very picturesque and in a quiet location on a hill over looking the sea and can see Sandown from the restaurant window too. Lovely clean and comfortable room which was situated on the ground floor- as they knew upon booking that I’m disabled so it was great that they took on board what I said and made sure it was accessible without having to ask! The bed is so comfortable and a lovely spacious bathroom too! The staff are so so friendly and welcoming, they’re very polite and attentive at all times. The food is phenomenal, the best full English breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel with a gorgeous pot of tea to wash it all down, just so delicious. All their food we tried was exceptional and was nice to see different specials on different evenings, clearly a wonderful chef and care about the customers, I have a severe shellfish allergy which they went above and beyond to assure me and tell me each precautionary step they took to ensure my safety, which is always a wonderful thing. Such a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere too! Will definitely be returning, thank you for a gorgeous stay!

Absolutley beautiful dinner at Bourne Hall Country House Hotel tonight. Carpaccio of beef, lamb rump & chocolate & orange cheesecake. Both of us ate all 3 courses which never happens such beautiful food tonight thank you guys! 💕 Very happy customers. And what a stunning place to have a meal,big thanks to Callum and Tom for waiting on us and doing a fab job, and Alex and Chris for such amazing food 10/10 in my books

We have just had a wonderful six night stay at the Bourne Hall Country Hotel. Made very welcome by Tom on arrival, room comfortable, sea views and spotlessly clean and tidy as is all areas of the hotel. Callum is superb, funny, polite and provided excellent attentive and efficient friendly service throughout. The food was outstanding, a different interesting menu each night, all to the highest standard thanks to Alex. An incredible strawberry pavlova and homemade soups, one morning croissants not delivered and Alex made them from scratch, wonderful. This is a beautiful small hotel in a very peaceful location, well kept gardens and seating areas plus outdoor pool. Cannot recommend highly enough and we will certainly return.
