The hotel's location is fantastic – just a 10-minute walk to Shantou Small Park. The renovation must be quite recent; even though it's an older building, the decor is very modern and smart. Parking is also super convenient.

Quite good! It's very close to a small park, and the environment is lovely. The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and attentive. To accommodate our child, the front desk even proactively upgraded us to an executive suite. Thumbs up! 👍👍👍

Arrived in Shantou city on New Year's Eve. We were mentally prepared for the price hike, and didn't have super high expectations. Overall, Xinhua was pretty good! It's very convenient to walk around and explore the nearby Small Park area. The service was excellent! It would have been even better if the breakfast had more variety!

Although this hotel is called 'Xiao Gongyuan Store,' it's actually a bit far from Xiao Gongyuan Park, about a twenty-minute walk. The rooms are clean and tidy, and parking on the ground level is very convenient. The self-service breakfast is a bit simple, but overall, it's pretty good.

Shantou is a city rich in history, boasting a bustling port for international trade even back in the late Qing Dynasty. The fact that such a small city once had nine cinemas really speaks to its vibrancy. For this trip, we chose the Xinhua Hotel Xiaogongyuan branch and were extremely satisfied. The hotel is located near the old town, about ten kilometers from Shantou Railway Station. It's accessible by public transport, or a taxi would cost around 30-40 yuan. The big advantage is that most major attractions are within walking distance, and you can easily explore the old town in the evenings. There are various restaurants nearby, offering more affordable dining options than within the old town itself. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; when we asked for a few more hangers, a staff member immediately brought them and informed us about the laundry room on the third floor, which offers both washing and drying facilities. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, featuring a desk and chairs, as well as a sofa and coffee table, making it convenient for relaxing and placing belongings. The breakfast was decent, offering all the usual items, and I particularly enjoyed their steamed sponge cake. We'll definitely stay at Xinhua Hotel again on our next visit to Shantou.

The hotel is very close to Xiaogongyuan Park and Laoma Temple, just about a ten-minute walk away. It has its own dedicated parking lot, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. This Xinhua Hotel indeed has a connection to a bookstore, as there's a bookshelf right in the lobby. Plus, the free tangerine peel and roselle tea offered in the lobby is really delicious.

The hotel is also conveniently located near Xiaogongyuan Park, within walking distance. We ended up extending our stay for another day.
