Just 100 meters downstairs, you're at the beach with a scenic promenade for tourists, an ocean entrance, and a well-maintained sea wall. The location is excellent, especially the road in front. There's hardly any traffic on the road, making it perfect for photos. If you catch a bright sunny day with a blue sky, clear blue sea, and the blue road with yellow lines – wow, it's absolutely stunning! **Facilities:** I booked a deluxe sea-view king room, which included breakfast for one person. The hotel is clean and luxurious, as is typical for Guangdong, featuring natural marble throughout – truly a luxurious five-star plus experience! Hotel facilities include a gym, swimming pool, kids' club, hair salon, billiards room, laundry room, and a yoga studio. The swimming pool is incredible, especially at night for photos. The laundry room has washer-dryers, and the changing rooms after a swim include a sauna. The facilities are very comprehensive. **Service:** I took a Didi from the airport. A quick note here: the highway toll from the airport to the hotel is 20 yuan, which you have to pay. The driver's return toll of 20 yuan also has to be covered, as it's an intercity trip from Jieyang airport to the Shantou hotel. Upon arrival, a doorman opened the car door and helped with luggage, which is very convenient if you're traveling with kids. The room service and front desk staff are all very attentive and friendly, especially the lobby manager. I had booked breakfast for one, but since we are a family of three, the manager kindly added an extra complimentary breakfast. I'm very grateful! **Hygiene:** My husband and I both work in a hospital, so we're quite particular about cleanliness. Let me just say, we couldn't find a single thing to complain about! It was spotless! Super satisfied! **Summary:** The location is away from the old city, so it's quiet and peaceful. It's clean, and the service is truly five-star plus. Being by the sea, you can watch both the sunrise and sunset. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable sea view! It's much better than hotels in the city center and absolutely worth the money. Getting to the old city costs about a dozen yuan by taxi. We took taxis everywhere, and it was very convenient. The local cars are clean, and the drivers are smooth. Many thanks to all the hotel staff! We will definitely stay here again next time!"
