Very old hotel, I came here for marathon, there r better hotels around

The location is good as the bus from the airport stops directly at the hotel. Surrounding there is a mall and have bus from hotel to go to 小公园。

Good value. Nice location. Clean room. Quick & efficient services. Nice front desk. Well mannered floor workers. Only drawback is the restaurant. Price at the Chinese restaurant on the high end but the food is just OK. Need to improve on appetites.

The Location of the Hotel is very near Department Store, shops and convenient store. The room is clean and all equipped. Service is also good. Breakfast has a lot of choices, taste of food is so so.

Hotel is long. If can upgrade is better. Bed is too low.

Though marketed as a 5-star hotel and given it's past grandeur, my family and I were totally underwhelmed during our stay.
We booked a total of 4 rooms and the rooms looked old and rundown. One of them came with a leaking toilet, while the other had not been cleaned despite us checking in after 2pm. What was worse was the electricity outage on the final morning of our stay where the lifts in the lobby were not working and everyone had to access the emergency exit and squeeze into the lifts.
Overall, it was a less than satisfactory stay. The hotel is in need of a serious upgrade. You will probably get better value staying in other hotels in Shantou for the amount paid.
