First the Good.
The hotel is in a great location, close to Hubei subway station, a few meters from Dongmen shopping malls, surrounded by restaurants, markets, and close to amusement parks.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfy, with modern amenities. A lolly jar and drinks in each room as well as fresh fruit every Sunday. And there's a free launderette with washer and dryer for hotel guests. Couldn't wish for more.
The Bad
The hotel is on a very busy road. If your room is road facing, then you'll have to endure road traffic noise night and day. The Windows are not well sealed and the glass panes are very thin. Hence, they don't block much noise. I had to change rooms.
Moreover, the hotel is very close to a couple of construction sites, with intermittent dins and huge rackets between 7am and 11 pm, seven days a week. This is not the hotel's fault, but it made for an unpleasant stay unfortunately.
I would gladly stay there again when the construction sites are over
