It was my first time staying in this hotel. When I entered, the ladies at the front desk greeted me warmly and gently. The service attitude was very good. After checking in, I entered the room. The room facilities were very good and the decoration was very novel. It should have been decorated in the past two years. It was very clean and hygienic. I booked a room with breakfast. The breakfast food was quite diverse and healthy. I highly recommend it. It was self-service. Then this hotel also has a laundry room with dryers and irons, which is very good. Then there is self-service hot water, coffee, tea, flower tea, etc. in the lobby on the first floor. I highly recommend it! The service is very attentive and good~

Nice clean room and a good bed. The room is a little cramped and does not have a rack for a suitcase. Construction activity behind consistently starting noise at 7.30am is a downer. Shower is clean and functional though small. Air Conditioners are good. Hitel seems to have been recently renovated. Not enough water pressure for the shower head to function correctly on anything but the mist spray. Value wise a very good budget hotel.

The location is very good, the parking is free, the service attitude is very good, there are elevators, the washing machine is dry, and most people use them. The beef hot pot and early tea downstairs are delicious. The facilities are old. If you don't mind, you can live. Near the window of the world, the subway is going to take a while.

The location of the hotel is quite good, very close to Nanshan Museum, and the pedestrian street can reach Nantou Ancient City. The distance from the hotel to the subway is about 10-15 minutes on foot.
The service at the front desk is also relatively good. It's just that the check-in is a little slow on the first day of check-in, but it is completely acceptable that there must be so many tourists checking in at the same time.
Maybe it's because I arrived late, I upgraded the room for free, and didn't tell me specifically, but after entering the room and the comparison with the picture above, I can clearly feel the invisible service of upgrading the room type , deserves a thumbs up.

Lovely big room with writing desk, liaise lounge and big bed - which was super comfy.
The bathroom was a decent size with an excellent, powerful shower.
The gym was (I think) also a commercial gym so the quality of cardio and weight machines was very good (mainly free weights with a few squat racks).
The swimming pool was clean with wide swimming lanes with deck chairs and loungers available (pity the weather wasn’t better).
I come to Shenzhen a lot and this was the best hotel find for value for money and location (5 minute walk to the metro and it took less than 40 minutes to get to the airport).
I’d highly recommend this hotel - lovely service as well including tolerating my horrific attempts at Chinese!

Upon arrival, I discovered several discrepancies with the hotel's description. Despite claiming to offer non-smoking rooms, none were available. My room wasn't ready at the designated check-in time, and I had to wait 30 minutes. The room I was initially assigned reeked of cigarette smoke, prompting me to request a change. In the new room, I encountered a broken drying line, which I reported to room service. Although they took photos and claimed to notify management, the issue was never resolved. Additionally, the promised washing detergent was not provided, and the kitchen was empty, rendering it unusable. The bathroom lacked a light above the mirror, making it difficult to apply makeup.
Room service is only available if the sign is displayed outside the door; otherwise, no service is provided. Given the small toilet paper rolls, which often empty in a day, this policy can be particularly inconvenient.

The stay was really lovely. No problems whatsoever. What we found a bit annoying was the light switch system, because it was not centralized. We had to manually walk to every corner where the light was on and turn it off. The isolation has room for improvement, slight noise from the outside slipped in to our room, but not loud enough to disturb us.

Location:
This hotel is located in a strategic spot with convenient access to anywhere in the city. The nearest MRT station is HuangGangCun Station, with three exits (C1, C2, and D) right in front of the hotel. If you have luggage, use exit C2, which has an escalator to the main street leading to the hotel. Be aware that there is no elevator going down to the station, so it’s easier to use the stairs from exit D for luggage. Alternatively, you can walk to the right side of the hotel and use the zebra crossing to find exit A with an escalator, which requires an 8-10 minute walk without shade. On the left side of the hotel, a 5-minute walk will take you to FuMin Station, exit C, near Ji Hotel. There are many restaurants and a local night market nearby, as well as a Starbucks and convenience store in the compound.
Room:
It got all you need. The room had a strong AC. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the smart toilet and separate shower and basin. Everything is controlled via a smart panel board. They upgraded my room for free, which had spacious space and a great city view of Shenzhen’s iconic building. The room included a free minibar with beer, tea equipment, a big LED screen TV, and a XiaoDu device for music and forecasts. Amenities included an iron and ironing board, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, comb, razor, cotton earbuds, a powerful hairdryer, comfortable bathrobe and slippers, clean towels and blanket, a recycled bag, shower cream, conditioner, shampoo, lotion, handwash, tissues box, water bottle and etc. The hotel also provides free laundry and dry service, a comfortable king-size bed and pillows, and bright rooms with good sunlight and lighting. My room is at Floor#18. Excellent soundproofing.
Shower:
The shower had strong water pressure and 24-hour hot water with quick heat-up.
Smart Toilet:
The smart toilet was excellent.
Extended Stay:
I extended my stay for another two nights. I love this hotel. Bar streets and a mall near Exhibition MRT Station are just one stop away from HuangGangCun Station. A Didi/taxi ride back to the hotel at night costs CNY 16-19 and takes about 10 minutes.
From hotel to FuTian High-Speed Train Station:
It’s only 9-12 minutes by MRT from this hotel, one way trip cost only CNY2/pax. Take MRT line 7 from HuangGang exit D, change to Line 3 at ShiXia to FuTian Station (3 stops), or take Line 4 from FuMin Station exit C directly to ShiMinZhongXin Station exit D (2 stops). I suggest downloading the Amap app for detailed routes in China.
Service:
The receptionist and housekeeping staff are friendly and willing to accommodate any issues at any time. They clean the room every day without reminders, refill amenities daily, and provide laundry service, including folding, within a day. They also offer breakfast for an additional fare.
Additional Services:
You can order food and shop online, and request the seller to send deliveries to this hotel by informing the front desk in advance. The staff will use a robot to deliver your parcel directly to your door.
If you have a local phone number, you can register as a member to receive better offers directly from the hotel.
I would definitely come back again.

Breakfast was very good. A brand new mall next to the hotel just opened up with great food and shopping just minutes away. I recently celebrated my always-18th birthday here lol, and it was nothing short of incredible. While the check-in processing took a bit longer than expected, the amazing staff, especially- Blue Du, really made my day special by offering me a beautiful room with a stunning sea view in a quieter area which required by me —thank you for that!
The beach and swimming pool area were superb—private, clean, and staffed with plenty of lifeguards, which made me feel secure and at ease. I truly appreciated the attention to safety.
As for the dining experience, I was pleasantly surprised by their Chinese restaurant, the food was delicious, and the dim sum exceeded my expectations—definitely better than your average dim sum place in SZ. (highly recommended the LaiChi shrimp ball and loster noodle, super yum!!)
To top it all off, the hotel sent me a lovely fruit basket as an IHG member privilege at night, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, it was a wonderful birthday celebration, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!!!

Many attractions like the Oh Bay ferris wheel and the Window of the World are within a 30RMB ride away, and the location was easy for vehicle pickup. Front desk staff Jessica (zhouzhou) and Money were very attentive and were able to address all of my questions and problems very quickly and accurately. Would definitely recommend others to stay here if they'd like a central location to explore Nanshan and Baoan area, or even if they don't mind a small trek to Futian/Luohu areas.

ZZeethaThis is my second trip to Shenzhen in the past 20 years, and my friend (who I call Gege) has recommended this hotel. My flight was late at night; the receptionist barely understands English, but they love to help. My room was on the 4th floor. It was a mini single room type, but it has every facility I need. The room is clean—not that new, but more spacious than I thought. The only thing they don't provide here in this room type is a refrigerator. But it is fine with me. The breakfast is lovely. I tried everything except the congee because I didn't know how to order it. Oh, but you need to ask for the ”zhāo cháng quán” at the reception counter if you book the room that includes breakfast. It will serve from 7.30 a.m. until around 10 a.m.
I love the location of this hotel so much. It is located on the beautiful boulevard and just a few minutes away from OCT Loft, the art square. Lawson is just around the corner, as is the pharmacy, as well as some local restaurants. The Qiaocheng East Metro station is about 7 minutes away, but walking along the boulevard makes it feel like 3 minutes to me.
The housekeepers are nice. Actually, everyone at the hotel is. I mentioned the housekeeper because she cleans my room every day, and that's what I need from coming back to travel for a whole day, but I feel that it was extra clean as she changed my towel and put in new, clean amenities for me every day. I tried to communicate with her on my third day and showed her my appreciation for her work.
On my last day of staying at this hotel, I left a note on the bed, written in my bad handwriting in Chinese. I hope she will find it. The receptionist on that day also helped me call a taxi when my phone application was not working.
I love everything in this hotel. The price is reasonable. I won't say cheap. You get what you pay for, and for me, I got a little more than I expected. I'll be back once every year and will definitely book this hotel again.
If you are a solo traveler and looking for a lovely hotel in a nice location, not as busy in the city, and love the arts and a bit of strolling on the greenery boulevard, then H'Life Hotel (OCT Loft) or Huali Hotel is what you need. And booking with Trip.com is my best choice. My flight was cancelled once when the typhoon hit Shenzhen early this month. I had to cancel at the last minute, but I booked it with the free cancellation option. So, all was well. I got the refund later and then booked it again in the next 2 weeks.
So please keep your good quality and maintain this standard, and then I will come back and recommend people come here too. See you again next year!

UURVdazhanguandaoThe room is very beautiful and unique, with a small rooftop. very comfortable. The hotel lobby is on the sixth floor. There are not many breakfast varieties, but it is enough to fill you up. The hotel rooms are also very smart. Very close to Haiya Theater. Because of family trip. So I booked two twin rooms.
