Oaktree Homestay

Being away from the hustle and bustle of the city can really enhance the tranquility of your stay. It's nice to have a peaceful retreat sometimes. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this homestay. The spacious room, cleanliness, comfort, cozy bed and food are definitely key factors that made our stay worth it.

If u are ever planning to come to Shimla or kufri then cancel your plans and ready to travel less than 50 km more and you will end up in heaven, one of the best homestays I ever stayed from location, room to host everything was Fantastic, if your are planning for spiti trip must stay here, if planning for reckong, chitkul must come here, highly recommend, will surely be coming back

A pleasant and lavish stay in a very economical way.The host did not leave even a bit of his efforts to satisfy us to the fullest.The food, environment,people,the surroundings everything was just splendor.Will surely visit once again and that too in the studio apartments the next time.

Okatree is Wow wow wow Location: The place is located near Narkanda,surrounded by mountains. Quality: The quality of the place in term of location, rooms, cleanliness, staff is 5stars. Host : Devendraji and his Wife are the perfect host. He is very humble and polite. I would recommend to all those coming to Himachal must must visit to Okatree. Food : About the food 😋, so simple yet tasty, we loved the Siddu both sweet and namkeen, the leafy green subzi was awesome and the local red rice. I would recommend to try the authentic food to everyone. Activity: one can take small trek to the okatree waterfall and than to the stream. we enjoyed a lot and we were happy that our kids were close to nature.In cities this is not possible.

Nice place, clean rooms, delicious authentic food.. All you can get in one place that is OAKTREE HOMESTAY.. The owner of the property, Mr Devinder is very humble and always ready to serve quality authentic food.. Must try " himachali SIDDU, ( I LIKE SWEET SIDDU), RED RICE ( it is called DHAAN here) & CURRY etc..

I feel every vibe is so good their and the host is gem kind of person. They treated us like their own family members. We will never forget this vacation in our life time. I appreciate they take time to talk to show us the area and Mr Devender is really humble and kind person. He is hard working who also knows to maintain relationships. We are eagerly looking to visit their home stay again.

We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and trust me it was wonderful. Host, Location view , Food, cleanliness and staff were really amazing. Mr Devinder and his wife were humble, cheerful, responsible and helpful. We were lucky to visit the apple Orchard too. There we also visited a hidden waterfall too. If you are looking for peaceful stay do visit. I would love to visit again.

My experience was just awesome. Right from stay, room view, activities and especially the food, everything was just perfect!! The owner and his family are a great host. I felt like a part of their family. Being a solo female traveller I felt completely safe and comfortable here. Special thanks to Divender sir and his wife for super yummy himachali food. Also, hidden waterfall experience was just wow!!

It’s so lovely place. Thanks for kind host, i can meet local people, i can experience every local things. I can know local people how to live, how to cook like that. And it’s so beautiful house. And it’s very clean. Here is soooo amazing place. It worth to come this town because of oaktree home. And i’m traveling alone(i’m a girl). Here is very safe to stay. Because family run here, and they live together. So, i recommend to solo traveller. If i come to india, again i will come here!
