There are a lot of good things with this hotel, the rooms are beautifully designed, the hotel lobby is nice, they have three tennis courts which was our main reason for staying here. The beach is really nice and the service on the beach is really quick and the people working there is nice and helpful. I don’t know why some had bad luck and stayed there when service where slow maybe they had improved until we went since that was not at all the case when we were there. The hotel was full when we where there but service was still good and quick. I was worried before we went here due to the bad reviews and expected the worst. But since all other five star hotel in the area costed twice as much I understood that this hotel maybe not be the best. We payed 600 euro a night for four. We usually stay at six senses, four season or Belmond and they cost three four times as much but are also three times as good. But this time we just wanted sun and a hotel that had a nice beach and tennis and we wasn’t prepared to pay as much since we are going to Maldives this autumn. So for you who didn’t know, there are so many different levels of five star hotel so if you find a five star hotel that costs 300 euro a night don’t expect to much. Since there are other five star hotel we stayed at that cost 2500 a night, and then my expectations are quite high. So my expectations this time wasn’t very high but when we arrived the personnel and the room was a positive suprice. All people working at the hotel are so nice and friendly and we haven’t had any problem with the cleaning. Actually I don’t understand the complaints that it’s dirty because I haven’t seen any dirt at all except the tables at the beach. They are so dirty every morning and there seem to be no routine for cleaning them. Ok now to the part that really bothers me, the food! The menu in the poolbar is like a children’s menu, mostly sandwiches and quite expensive for what you get. 18 euro for a sandwich with bread, salad, mayo and meet. Something they call Bao bun, supposed to be a Asian kind of bread with chicken ( I had the original a lot of times and it’s really tasty) It costs 20 euro and it’s prefab chicken nuggets with salad, mayo and bread ( regular bread) even the Greek salad is bad, it didn’t have any dressing and was really mediocre. The Caesar salad was ice berg salad not the salad used in Caesar salad and it still cost 20 euro. But except from the price, this is NOT ok for a five star hotel. So much pre fab and lack of variety that even if we just had lunch here three days i don’t know what to eat tomorrow cause nothing is good and everything is bad quality. The spa trea**ents and the gym is also very good so there are a lot of good things here but it was impossible to give a five star even if I really wanted since every one working here is so kind and really do there best but due to the really bad food in both restaurants it had to be four and it was on the verge I gave I three. Food doesn’t

T&J room 227 May 2024 This hotel is only 3 years old and is now under new management since March 2024, so the earlier poor reviews should not put you off from staying at this excellent hotel. We would highly recommend staying here, we’d love to visit again. Upon arrival we were shown round the hotel by Dimitra and then taken to our room where there was a complementary bottle of wine, some baklava and water, a nice touch. All the staff were super helpful, very friendly and always had smiles on the faces. Big shout out to lobby bar and the pool bar staff! All young, all spoke English (shame on us for not speaking another language) and were very attentive. We had lunch most days at the pool bar. We had no issues getting sunbeds by the main pool (big!) but this was only the third week of the season. However, based on the number of sunbeds and shades around all the pools and along the beach I don’t think there will be any issues in high season. The beach is superb and the sea crystal clear. Bit rocky walking out to the sea but worth it to have a swim. Regarding food, there is an al a carte restaurant which is not part of the half board, so need to pay to dine there, we had lunch one day there. The food was excellent, but a bit too expensive for us to dine there every day. The half board buffet dinner had lots of variations every day, keeping it interesting and very tasty. The staff was always helpful and ready to resolve any issues and make your stay as amazing as possible. Breakfast was the normal for a buffet style and with plenty of choice. Special mention to George, the F&B manager who was an excellent host, friendly and sorted out a small issue we had straight away. The location is quite remote, with the village of Nikiti 5km away and the other village 16km. So long walk to Nikiti or a 10 Euro taxi ride each way. We did not visit the village. On reflection we should have hired a car from the airport, rather than a taxi transfer to the hotel as it would have been cheaper and giving is more flexibility to explore outside of the hotel. We have been lucky enough to stay at some excellent 5* hotels in the past and would put this hotel right up there with them. All in all we had a fantastic 8 nights at Ammoa Luxury Hotel and Spa and look forward to staying there again, sometime in the future.

I had an absolutely dreadful experience during my recent stay at this hotel. To say that it was disappointing would be a colossal understatement. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this was going to be a nigh**are. Upon check-in, we found ourselves waiting for an absurd amount of time as the hotel staff struggled to manage a car that needed to be parked. It was like watching a comedy of errors unfold as the person responsible for parking the car managed to collide with a trolley. This display of incompetence did not inspire confidence in the hotel's staff. To make matters worse, despite the fact that we were traveling with two young children, the hotel decided to assign us a room designed for people with disabilities. As a result, water from the shower ended up flooding the entire room. When we asked for a room change, the staff were shockingly rude and unaccommodating. Their dismissive attitude only added to our frustration. After three agonizing days, we were finally moved to a duplex room. However, the ordeal was far from over. The thin walls in the duplex room meant that we had to endure constant knocking from the neighboring guests every time our kids made the slightest bit of noise. It felt like there was absolutely no sound insulation, making our stay unbearable. The culinary experience at this hotel was equally disappointing. The food was subpar at best and hardly befitting a hotel that claims to be of three-star quality. It left us with a longing for the type of cuisine one might expect at a roadside diner, rather than a supposedly reputable establishment. Another major issue was the sunbed situation. Despite our best efforts, it was nearly impossible to secure a sunbed if we ventured to the beach after 11 am. It was infuriating to witness guests who had apparently reserved sunbeds at the crack of dawn, leaving the rest of us with nowhere to relax. Overall, this hotel was an absolute disaster. From the parking mishap to the room allocation, rude staff, paper-thin walls, unimpressive food, and sunbed woes, it was a never-ending series of disappoin**ents. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to think twice and explore other options that actually live up to their promises and price point. My family and I will certainly never return to this nigh**arish establishment.

My experience at Ammoa was deeply disappointing. The subpar service, lack of cleanliness, and unappetizing food made for an unpleasant stay. For the price I paid, I had anticipated a much higher standard. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
