Aria Seaside Retreat - ex Regos Resort Hotel ★★★
"Pleasant interior and helpful staff. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. The breakfast was fine, there was a good variety, but I didn't like the meat options. Still there were plenty of other meals. It was clean and well maintained."
Porto Carras Meliton ★★★★★
"Amazing view and location. Suggest to everyone"
Chrissi Ammoudia ★★★

Pure Villas ★★★★
"Everything, absolutely everything, was perfect! The room was spacious, and we had our own private pool; perfect privacy. Excellent breakfast was served directly in our room in the morning. The host was incredibly kind, which is not a given, and gave us excellent recommendations for locations, beaches, and restaurants: all spot on! I truly recommend this corner of paradise."
Acrotel Athena Pallas ★★★★★
"Nice hotel, good location. I got a normal double room, without a couch, and they said they have different "junior suites", some of them without this detail. A bit strange, as the room description was clear."

Ammoa Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort
"The most wonderful resort! The highlight for us was genuinely how lovely and welcoming all the staff were—especially Georgia, who was always so friendly and helpful to talk to. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. We came for my birthday, and my partner proposed to me here—it made the whole trip the most magical experience. From the private pool and the immaculately clean rooms, to the beautiful architecture and stunning beach, everything felt perfect. The cocktails and pizza were amazing, and the Greek yogurt at breakfast and steak at dinner were genuinely better than most Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve been to. There’s also an incredible variety of activities to choose from, which made every day exciting. We can’t wait to come back—it was truly unforgettable."
The Danai
"This review is long overdue, as I stayed at The Danai last summer. It was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The service was nothing short of excellent, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth, setting the tone for the rest of my visit. The attention to detail and personalized care truly made me feel like a valued guest. Kimon, the owner personally arranged to give us a tour of the property including the many suites available for families. The hotel itself is a gem of a place, boasting elegant decor, impeccable cleanliness, and a serene atmosphere that provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Whether I was lounging by the beach or enjoying a meal at the restaurants, every moment spent at The Danai was a sheer delight. If you're looking for a luxurious getaway with exceptional service, look no further. This establishment truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible, and I cannot wait to return. Thank you to the entire team at The Danai for making my stay unforgettable! Here are a few notable mentions: Margarita at check in took the time to show us around. Christina t the beach attended to our every need. Afrodite, Eglantina, Lia and Niko at the restaurant. Olga the pastry chef gave us a private cooking class on Greek deserts. The staff at the Spa was great, Koustantina, Marina, Aggeliki & Katouna Petros the night clerk, and Vasileia at reception Thank you owners Julia Kimon for your hospitality. Will see you again in July. Eddie Dana"
Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel and Spa
"Pink wave is the best entertainment. Withouth the animation team i would be so bored. Overall i love it and the animators are so sweet. Especially all the girls Joanna, Chloe, Laura, Chiara, and the boys Alessandro, Pius, Alex!!!"
Olivera Suites Sarti
Acrotel Elea Beach
"Everything was perfect. The staff is really frendly. The food is varied and very tasty. For this summer vacation our choice will be again Acrotel Elea Beach."
Antigoni Seaside Resort
"The room (a "Premium Double Sea View") was nice and breakfast was excellent. The beach and setting are lovely, as is the pool. It's a short walk round the headland to the port, where there are several restaurants. It was useful to have a fridge in the room. However... 1. We had been there before but there was no acknowledgement of this. 2. When I booked, using the hotel's own website, I asked for a sunbed on the front row. This was included in the email confirmation I received back. When we arrived, they said they hadn't got the request. 3. The "sea view" was of a brown, concrete block. See attached photo. 4. There was a bottle of water in the room when we arrived, but it was never replenished. 5. The didn't clean the room on one day. We were in the room for about half an hour during the day and had the "do not disturb" sign on, which must have been when the cleaner came. However, they obviously didn't bother to come back later to check if the room was free, 6. There was no hot water in the room in the mornings (and occasionally in the evening as well). I told reception and they sent someone up, who told us it was "impossible" for there not to be any hot water. And yet there wasn't, for the whole duration of our stay. 7. The beach is incredibly crowded. Cars are parked everywhere, including on the beach. Many are parked on the pavements. Most visitors seem to be from Serbia and Romania, which I suppose are within driving distance. 8. The hotel allocate a beach umbrella/sunbed location for the duration of your stay. They gave us one right next to the adjacent beach club, with continuous loud music. We complained and they moved us to the other side. However, they rent out the unallocated sunbeds by the day to random non-residents, so we were surrounded by huge, noisy, extended families. It wasn't very relaxing. All in all, given that we had paid well over €2,000 we expected a better experience."
Assa Maris Beach Hotel
"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The beautiful gardens were very well maintained and created a relaxing atmosphere. The beach and the swimming pool were excellent, clean, and perfect for spending the day. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The only area that could be improved is the food. While it was acceptable, we believe there could be more variety and better quality to match the overall standard of the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for its beautiful surroundings, great beach, pool, and excellent staff."
Etheres
"We stayed at this stunning villa for about four nights – such a beautiful and pastoral place. The villa is fully equipped, the staff is wonderful, the view is breathtaking, and the pool is great fun. There’s also a laundry service available at a very reasonable price – they collect from the room and return it to you. Highly recommended!"
Lagomandra Beach Hotel
"We are a family of 4 with 2 kids of 6 and 13. I don’t usually leave reviews but this time I felt I could contribute something. Our holiday experience has been long haul, all inclusives and in Europe mainly villas and apartments with car hire. This time we only had a week available so it was easier to stay in one place. We booked with Jet 2 from Edinburgh. Price was very reasonable and actually overall we now realise it was a bargain. Jet 2 were really good. Thessaloniki airport was well organised and it was easy to get through in both directions. Flights were on time. Transfers left on time both directions and passed quickly. Lagomandra beach hotel is on the beach and behind it is Lagomandra Spa. The area is very scenic. We were the only British people there ???? They would welcome more Scottish people and its an obvious one from Edinburgh so maybe next year we will bump into some fellow Scots. The rooms are modern, comfortable, very clean and have daily cleaning and towel change. Its a small resort so its a short stroll to the pools and beach. The pools are quiet and have plenty sunbeds all with umbrellas. The pool bar has a large shared area with tables and chairs. The sea is perfect, its like a pool untill 2 pm when the tide is coming in. There are 3 beach areas The hotel beach has plenty of sunbeds and is really well organised. To one side is a large area where you can park yourself away from the sunbeds. The other side is a public beach with a wooded area. That’s where the usual watersports are. There is a well stocked shop on the site. We were half board and the food was excellent and varied. I recommend the Sauvignon Blanc if you like white wine. Very good Mohitos. The beach bar cafe has really good Pitta bread/ gyros and salad sandwiches for 5 Euros for lunch. The beach restaurant has the best calamari, grilled shrimps and general seafood and is very reasonable. Lunch for 4 with drinks around 90 euros. The beach showers actually work. The Spa hotel has evening Entertainment and organised kids activities. The main standouts for us was the work that Notis the manager and Aphroditi his assistant have done in creating the best team of people I have ever come across. They are all hardworking, happy and really eager to please. You quickly get to know them and they always welcome you with a smile. A thankyou and a modest tip goes a long way so bring some euros. The place is so well organised. Its a perfect family resort, we all loved it there. Criticism - we didn’t Like the olives Next time- we are taking a paddle board and staying 10 days."
Akti Toroni Boutique Hotel
"This hotel was probably the best in the area 20 years ago- and arguably may still be so- BUT it’s is badly in need of better management and a decent maintenance budget. Nothing was properly clean, staff constantly sat smoking or drinking coffee in bar area, cleaning equipment just left lying about, jacuzzi in basement ‘spa’ area out of order, black mould in bathroom, loose wires hanging off walls! It needs a decent manager installed to go round maki g sure things get done properly. Also needs attention to basic health and safety such as removing sharp metal brackets from windows on breakfast terrace at a narrow place where people will catch themselves, not leaving pool cleaner in lounge area where people can trip over cables, not leaving crockery trolley in corridor, and exterior corners on pool steps are just dangerous! There was a strong smell of drains outside our room so we didn’t sit on the patio, and also outside the breakfast balcony. On the plus side the location is lovely and the front of house staff were all very good, especially the bar tender"
Ekies All Senses Resort, a Member of Design Hotels
"The hotel restaurant/bar is beautiful however some of its staff are BAD. Twice during two weeks were 'greeted' by Marina and were not made feel welcome. Telling us what to do (you can NOT sit there, you can NOT move the tables) and speaking over us, she did not at any point want to smile. Real shame for Ekies All Senses Resort to have representatives like she! Visit the restaurant/bar indeed and ask for Osia and/or Adonis to serve you instead..."
