Alcázar Hotel Sóller

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff are friendly. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore local attractions. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Soller.

Hotel only recently opened so everything very fresh. Our room overlooked the pool/garden albeit the balcony is a tight space. Our room at 22 sq. Metres again was compact. The lack of a screen between the bedroom and shower may not be to everyone's tastes but ..... Breakfast quality and selection was good but location of the coffee machine created some queues. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful - David (Julio Eglesias) always singing and Juan on reception couldn't have been more helpful. Sorry I can't remember all the names but evidence of strong teamwork.

We booked our hotel stay for 5 nights mid September and enjoyed everything about the hotel. We stayed in room 203 which was second floor overlooking the pool. The hotel is in a quiet spot but only 100 meters from the main square. The room had a huge comfortable bed and a semi open bathroom and a small balcony. With the hotel being so new, everything was spotless. The balcony is small but has a small table and 2 chairs and was great to catch the afternoon sun. Staff are very friendly and efficient from the reception (thanks Salva and team) to the bar staff and housekeepers. Pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. It will look even better when all of the plants have time to grow more. Nice bar area with reasonably priced drinks. Breakfasts were excellent with a huge selection of hot and cold food. Outside seating for breakfast was available but in September, the sun does not rise above the hotel until around 11 so it was chilly. However, there is plenty of indoor seating. My only (very small) negative comment is that because the bed is so big, it has supporting framework underneath which prevents empty cases from being stored there. This means that there is no convenient place to keep cases. Thanks to all of the staff and in particular for the gift to celebrate our anniversary. We will see you next year

This hotel was newly opened when we stayed and so clean and perfectly appointed. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Soller with a tram stop very close by. The design of the hotel is really lovely with a lot of thought put into everything. The pool area is great and has sun after about 11. There are plenty of sun loungers and seats to enjoy the sun and a pool, but it is very cold so not for the fainthearted. The addition of cushions on the sun-loungers would be a great addition. The rooms are quite compact but really well designed so do not feel small. The staff are extremely welcoming and made our stay realyy pleasant.

The hotel has only been open for 2 months and I honestly couldn’t think of anyway way they could improve it! The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast choice was amazing, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and the location was central yet peaceful. I would return in a heart beat. We were slightly worried that travelling with our 1 year old in tow might not fit the hotel’s sleek vibe, however there were other young families staying too and the hotel was very well equipped for the younger guests - the cot was a proper cot rather than a travel cot, and there was a lovely chest of toys in the pool area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Soller.

Excellent in every way. We live in Palma de Mallorca, so this was a quick weekend getaway for us. From the friendly welcome, to the beautiful room, everything was lovely. The design of the hotel, rooms, common areas, pool , etc. is very well done. The rooms are not huge but have great views of the mountains (208) and the pool area. Lots of quality design touches. Very comfortable bed. Welcome drink was a nice touch. Parking was most welcome in busy Soller, and not incredibly tight like many in Mallorca. Breakfast was also excellent with a big choice of everything, although the one coffee machine was working overtime! A real machine cappucino would have been the chery on the cake! Our shower cubicle did leak a bit, but nothing a bit of silicone wouldn't fix. The position is fantastic, right in the heart of Soller, and the tram even goes by the gardens. We would love to return!

An absolute gen of a hotel in one of the most beautiful towns in Majorca. The proximity to the main square, staff being so gentle with guests, nice selection of breakfast at the hotel, a decent size outdoor pool, a good variety of restaurant options near the hotel, the views from the rooms all hit the spot. During our first morning, the receptionist went above and beyond to give us recommendations on things to do, nearby places to visit and most importantly the most delicious food to try both in Sollèr and in Port de Sollèr! You could go without an itenerary and still make the best of your time there.

Just got back from a 10 day stay at this hotel and it was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, great rooms and amazing location. Breakfast was great and made even better by the staff here, especially Lucia and David, who were so helpful and nice to chat to. Will definitely be back.
