Great place to stay. At the beginning of town town Solvang, very walkable & safe. We had a canyon view with a beautiful deck, very quiet.

Elevator/Stairwell system is slow or confusing to navigate and parking is minimal from recollection.

We had such an amazing time in solvang and couldn’t have picked a better hotel. From the front office staff to Rick in the lounge the customer service was excellent!

The room is spacious and the beds were comfortable. You have a mini fridge, iron and a few hangers to hang your clothes. The minuses to the room are the bathroom sink is located in the main room, so if you get up in the middle of the night you wake up the others. Also if you stay street side, which we did, you can hear the traffic from the main road.Also the door in-between the hallways did not close properly, anyone can gain access to the room doors.
The lounge area is updated and comfy space for appies and cocktails.

Rick at the bar and Gary (I believe his name is) in the kitchen are the nicest people we have ever encountered. Loved this hotel. Our room had 3 queen beds. Which is unheard of. Perfect for a girls trip.

Room size was good for a family of 6, had to call front desk because heater wasn’t working. It’s been renovated but still feels and smells old.
