Best Hotels in Stavros

My Wife and I wanted a relaxing break in the sun so we booked this hotel as it offered the Honeymoon Suite which was self contained with private pool. On our arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who helped to check us in and then we were taken too our suite in a buggy by a very friendly Porter who took care of our cases while we looked around our amazingly spacious and beautiful Suite. We couldn't get over the size of our suite including the pool outside eating area and two chill out areas not forgetting the outstanding views over the Mediterranean Sea. The service and friendliness of all the staff was always welcoming including Stelios Who always asked how we were and how our day had been. The Restaurant staff always welcomed us and were there for what ever we needed including Artemis, Katerina Maria and Giorgos. The Bar staff Giaumis and the two Giorgos' were always friendly and happy to make any cocktail we asked for and even the Flaming Sambucas that were impressive. Cristian was so friendly and came and sat with us for chats and even card games Such a nice Guy Well done in your first season in Crete. We Were treated two a bottle of bubbly and a selection of fruit just a day into our stay also a few days later a selection of sweet pastries and two bottles of Raki which was an experience in its self. The day before our departure we received a complimentary bottle of wine which was also a nice touch. Our Cleaners were so nice and friendly and kept our suite clean and also the outside space such hard workers.Thank you Ladies ! The Staff on reception led by Michalitsa were always on hand to help with anything from bus timetables to printing off our forms and much more. Back to our Suite we cant say enough great things about this it was the best we have ever had the pleasure to stay in everything was spot on and the views including the sunsets were amazing. On our last day we were given a goodie bag by Michalitsa which was such a nice touch and the bag with all the names on and the card as well so nice Thank you. Dimitris you have a wonderful Hotel and Spa and your Staff are a true Credit to you. A Big Thank you to all of you for making our stay at MR&MRS WHITE an enjoyable and relaxing one.

Hotel location is very good, a few minutes walk from the old town, breakfast is very good, the front desk service is also very good, the room is not big, but the design is very reasonable, there is a balcony, blowing, very comfortable

We visited this well run hotel - 19th - 27th September - all the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Our room 406 was very well appointed and bed very comfortable. Airconditioned which we used when the nights were hot. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The hotel is in a good position, just moments walk to the Old Town, and a 12-15 minute to the nearest beach. Breakfast excellent choices of hot & cold food, with local selection of cakes, savoury and sweet Cretin pies. Local selection of bread and large selection of unusual jams and breakfast spreads. I would like to thank personally Nikos (Food & Beverage Manager)- for his friendship and ensuring that our breakfast meal was being enjoyed. He spoke to us personally each morning and he gave us some good information of places to visit outside Chania. Also I would like to thank - Emmanuella (Front of House- Reception)- again her friendship and she would also talk to us every time we passed the front desk. She again gave us very valuable information of places to visit, and organised taxi's and booked a day-trip by coach and boat. Emmanuella was again very polite, helpful yet professional, and helped make our holiday most memorable. A big thank you also to Necteria (breakfast server)- every morning she spoke to us, and remembered our breakfast order, she was so kind and helpful. We just come back from 10-day break to Crete to Kalyves Beach hotel. What can I say about this hotel as a Greek myself I always like to write good reviews for my fellow Greeks but not always going as you plan. If we have a good time, I write good and real reviews for people to know what to expect from the hotel and not what is around, so here we go. Reception. Check in was fast as we arrive late night, the lad by the desk I can’t remember his name it was very helpful very chatty and explain everything to as and through the time every night it was there with nice smile and talk, big thanks for that, the morning ladies not much of talk at list they say good morning ect Hotel. The hotel is in very good location next to a small river and in front of the beach 2 separate buildings with 3 pools 2 outdoors 1 in doors, 0ne bar only serving drinks not enough and again big thanks to Baggelis and the French girl for the good service. Entertainment was taken place every night every day but I don’t know because of the weather not been very good and it was freezing cold every night people they were leaving early but it’s worth it to stay till the end as we enjoy the music, now through the day the sea was freezing cold and very windy in some stages we thought we were in Lanzarote. Rooms. Don’t be fool from the photos on the web site some front rooms they are good size if you pay the price and some family rooms all the rest of the rooms they are small particularly the bath room please see photos the shower is 2x3 feet not even a 5 year old can have enough space to shower not an adult the rooms have coffee make facilities and fridge comfy beds and pillows and good size balconies with no privacy on top floor as they are all open. Restaurant. Now the most important Breakfast very good call it 4* Lunch very good call it 4* Dinner just ok same food repeat every day not much of selection the first week, little improvement the last 3 days not very hot but at least it was tasty whatever they were serving if you eat just salads you are ok plenty of them apologies to the hotel for that. You need to improve the food. Very big thanks to Giorgos as it was the only one to have very good relation with the gests and always there to help, the rest of the waiters need little more training to speak to the gests and smile. In general, I rate this hotel 3* for my self and not 4, a couple stay next to our room they been there before 5 years ago and told as then the food it was brilliant now it’s really low quality they were going out for meals every night and we done the same for few days as there are lots of restaurants around with very good prices to eat out and very nice and tasty food trust me on this one. There was not atmosphere in this hotel to make you feel you are on holidays. This was my review for the Kalyves Beach please feel free to ask any questions. We are coming to Greece every year for holidays and as a Greek I know what to expect in the hotels good Greek food but

Fantastic room in boiserie with views on the Venetian port of Chania. Super courteous staff. Very central location in the ZTL, taxis do not arrive there and a walk with baggage must be taken into account, although at arrival it was told me that the hotel offers a reception service at the taxi post and baggage transportation.

thank you for a pleasent stay, upgrande of our room and gluten and lactose free meal supply. Animators Carla and Lauda were our favourite ones and our daughter talk about them even we already returned back to home. For her absolutely fantastic holiday. I can´t also forget to mention the Magic Circus Show and the French protagonists. They makes their job so profesional and makes the people smily and happy. That was absolutely good choice of the hotel managers to choose them !! Fingers up who sign them. From our point of view everything was fine. From the very beginning the owner welcomed us with such care. The place itself it’s located perfectly outside the rush of people but yet still so close to the city of Chania (8/10mins by car). The establishment is super nice and well kept surrounded by bamboo and olive trees. The rooms are near each other and most of them are overlooking the pool. Room itself was very very clean and towels,bedsheets,products were smelling really nice. You can see that the place is well maintained and taken very good care of! It’s also PET FRIENDLY with stray cats(which you’ll see either in the morning or at night without even bothering you) another reason why we booked this establishment as we brought our own dog which was well accepted without any additional costs or useless comments. Our holiday is still ongoing as we booked for 5 days but it’s a must to leave a positive comment to such a beautiful place and people. To who ever sees this post don’t think twice and just book it!
