My family and I had a fantastic stay at Andu Hotel. Their service started from the moment we arrived in Suzhou station, up until the moment we left Suzhou. I want to thank Manager Meng who took us to the hotel from the station and gave us so many amazing recommendations to eat and visit around Suzhou. (We spoke in Chinese so it may have been easier to communicate that way, but I can’t speak for service in English.)
There were so much amazing food within the vicinity of the hotel. There’s a restaurant called 鑫震源 (XinZhenYuan) right across the street from the hotel that is famous for their pan fried dumplings that’s definitely worth a try.
The environment of the hotel is also very clean and well organised. The inside looks way bigger than it looks on the outside. The lobby is very modern and spacious. However there is a ramp leading up to the lobby area that may be a little steep but you only really have to go there during checkin :)
Our family room had two bedrooms, each with their own TV and controls. Their facilities were also very modern; it was a smart room with stuff like switch controlled curtains. For us, we loved how their TV also had many choices for their shows, and we had access to their VIP episodes as well!
Breakfast selection was also pretty good! But I was in Suzhou for the food anyways so I didn’t eat that much 🥲 There’s also free access to their laundry room with detergent provided (but you have to wash yourself).
One thing to note, if you booked a family room and you have an elderly with you, you might want to notify them as rooms on level 3 are apparently only accessible by stairs, but this should not be a point to deter you away from the hotel.
Just for their friendliness and impeccable service, I will definitely be back again when I return to Suzhou. My family and I loved the stay!
