Pan Pacific Suzhou ★★★★★
"Objectively speaking, the room view and hotel service were impeccable. However, it's truly a shame that such a large hotel only has one delivery robot. After ordering food, having to wait fifty minutes for it to arrive was maddening. The service department, though, had an excellent attitude. They gave me a coffee voucher and were very polite, answering all my questions. The second time, even though I didn't ask them to deliver my meal, they still thoughtfully brought it to me in advance. So, I think the human aspect of the service is quite good. But I urge the hotel's procurement department and management to approve the purchase of enough delivery robots to support guest traffic, thereby elevating the service experience. The experience at Rui Mian inside the hotel was also very good. While the prices are definitely not budget-friendly, considering the ambiance, the dishes, and the service attitude, I personally believe it offers good value for money."
Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden) ★★★★
"Arrived at the hotel at 5:30 PM, got a room with a severe musty smell. Requested a change. The new room had a clogged toilet (it was already clogged). Told the front desk, they said they'd fix it while we went out. Came back at 11 PM, and the toilet still wasn't fixed. Called the front desk again, they sent a cleaner who worked on it for half an hour and then said it couldn't be fixed. They offered another room change, but there was absolutely no apology throughout the whole process. We had to wait in the room for half an hour. When we requested a room change, they even asked if we had messed up any facilities. Seriously, even if I had already slept in the room, if there were issues like this, they should still change the room for us, right? Below are detail photos of the bedside table and bathroom towel. Ridiculous."
ANDU HOTEL ★★★★
"A fantastic stay! The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and our room was spotless with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The staff were warm and polite, and even enthusiastically explained the room's facilities. The hotel's location is also excellent – very close to Shantang Street, Guanqian Street, and Pingyang Road. Plus, there's a snack street right across the road, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment!"
SCHOLARS BOUTIQUE Suzhou Pingjiangfu ★★★★★
"Facilities: Clean and well-maintained. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Beautiful and tidy. Service: Prompt and responsive. Suwei Restaurant - Danjiao Noodles: Very delicious. Qipao experience (1 hour) includes 3 digital photos. Complimentary morning Tai Chi session."
Vienna International Hotel (Suzhou Railway Station North Square) ★★★★
"Cleanliness is consistently good: Rooms are clean, bedding is comfortable, and wet/dry separation is generally well-executed. Most people describe it as 'spotless'. • High value for money: Prices are mostly between 200–400 RMB per night. For a price point comparable to a 3-star hotel, you get European-style decor and a warmly lit lobby. • Standardized service: The front desk is responsive, luggage storage is available, some locations have robots for item delivery, and free parking is offered. • Practical breakfast: Simple Chinese and Western options, including congee/noodles/bread/fruit – enough to fill you up, with some local specialties. • Poor soundproofing (most common complaint): You can clearly hear conversations in the hallway, doors opening and closing, and the TV in the next room. Street-facing rooms will have traffic noise. • Inconsistent facility newness: ◦ New branches (after 2022): Smart room controls, fresh air systems, wood-look flooring, 25–28㎡ rooms. ◦ Older branches: Worn carpets, outdated furniture, limescale on showerheads, slow drains, some rooms without windows/lingering smoke smell. • Inconsistent service: Slow check-in during peak times, some front desk staff can be indifferent, and complaint resolution is average. • Small space: Basic rooms are about 20㎡, making it cramped to move around once luggage is placed. • Smoke/unpleasant odors: Some non-smoking rooms still have a smoke smell, and occasional drain odors."
THE HUMBLE Suzhou Shantang Street City Gate Hospitality Courtyard Hotel ★★★
"Well designed room. Very clean and modern with AI assist control."
AaronHotel ★★★
"Seems very new or recently renovated so everything is good. Service from the reception staff is great. She allowed us to check in early and even gave us an upgraded room and also late check out. Super convenient location just above metro station and public buses to go to all attractions. Lots of upscale shopping and regular shops around."
Zhuoyaju Hotel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road Guanqian Street Branch) ★★★
Suzhou Shantang Street Huamao Gusuli Service Apartment ★★★★★
"The room has a minimalist style and looks very clean. With over 50 square meters, it's quite spacious. The most practical item in the room I found was the washing machine with a dryer, which saved me the hassle of handwashing. The smart toilet was also a nice touch. Although the kids' play area is small, the children had a great time. There's also a teacher who leads craft classes for kids every day, and spots fill up quickly! The Zhizhi Garden has a beautiful collection of koi fish, big and small, which really captivated the little ones as they fed them."

Heart&Island Island Mood · Lake View Homestay
"Facilities: Overall, very good. The first floor has a cafe, billiards, arcade games, a swimming pool, a mahjong room, and a karaoke bar—everything you could want is available. Cleanliness: Very clean, much better than I expected for a B&B. It was as clean as a hotel. I didn't even need the disposable bed linen I provided. Environment: Right by Taihu Lake, you can watch the sunset from your bed. You can also order food and coffee from the room by scanning a QR code, which is very convenient. You don't have to leave the room. Service: Very attentive. The housekeeper added me on WeChat the day before. We communicated with any requests in the WeChat group, and the response was quick. Unlike some B&Bs that are fussy, the hostess and housekeeper at this B&B were very generous and kind."
InCove Baisha Bay Lake View Homestay (Taihu Lake Hengshan Island)
"Satisfied, five stars. The scenery was exceptionally good, very beautiful, and a comfortable trip."
Zhuixun · Designer Full Lake View Homestay
"The glass windows of the room are bright, the bedding is very white, the floor is very clean, you can barefoot."
Suzhou Jinxi B&B
"I like this B&B very much. I have come here many times before to drink coffee and feel the charm of Taihu Lake. Every time I think that if I wake up in the morning and see the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake, I will definitely be in a good mood. This time I took advantage of the weekday to stay for one night, and I was not disappointed. The weather was very good, and the lake was shining blue. Recommended."
Kimpton BAMBOO GROVE SUZHOU by IHG
"The location is super convenient, nestled right between the West Garden Temple scenic area and the Jinji Lake new district in the east. It's also right next to Universal Plaza, offering a wide array of dining options. The hotel has a Chinese bamboo forest theme, but the guest room building itself doesn't try too hard to be ancient; the modern architectural style blends perfectly with the bamboo groves and water features. The decor is new, and the hardware, like the bathrooms and TVs, is high-end. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The gym is fantastic, fully equipped, and even has a small swimming pool. Service is warm and welcoming. There's ample staff in the lobby, and they're very attentive with luggage and guiding guests during check-in. During my stay, I needed assistance with the bidet, and the repair process and response showed clear training. The first round of drinks and alcohol in the room is complimentary. A typhoon disrupted my plans, and the hotel even provided free breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. The food tasted great, and there was a wide selection (they even had young coconuts!). The freshly made dishes at the live stations were impressive, and the coffee was above average. It's a pet-friendly hotel; the room numbers are cute little cat paw signs. The lobby's working 'concierge dog' is an 85-pound, 3-year-old 'pig-puller' named Kelly, who is incredibly gentle. Both kids and adults can pet her as much as they like."
voco Suzhou Guanqian Street
"The hotel is new and the service is great! It's right next to Guanqian Street, so it's perfect for a stroll, and the subway access is convenient with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, the hotel has only been open for about half a year, and there's still a strong renovation smell in the hallways and rooms. We had to ask for an air purifier, which helped a bit. Also, there's power, but no bidet installed."
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
"A very nice hotel. Next time I'm in Suzhou, I'll consider other hotels, but the Four Seasons would definitely be my top choice. The service level is excellent, and my kids absolutely loved it!"
Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Suzhou
"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The butler service was exceptional – they were incredibly responsive to all my requests, even late at night, and they even delivered my late-night takeout to my room! I also received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room itself was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and genuinely attentive to every guest. The hotel's location is also superb; you can see the Gate of the Orient as soon as you step outside. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou!"
Suzhou Shantangstreet Jiangnan Palace
"The hotel's location is excellent, right inside the scenic area and quite easy to find. It gets very lively there at night. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. The surroundings here are beautiful, with small bridges and flowing water, really showcasing Suzhou's unique charm. The room was unexpectedly good, even having a private courtyard, which was very quiet."
Floral Hotel·Suzhou Front Hall and Backyard Hotel (Pingjiang Road Store)
"My main reason for coming to Suzhou this time was to explore Pingjiang Road and the Humble Administrator's Garden, and choosing this B&B was absolutely the best decision! It's just a short walk out the door and you're on Pingjiang Road. No need to rush during morning peak hours to get to the museum; you can just walk there. The location is truly unbeatable. The owner was super enthusiastic and even recommended some fantastic local snacks nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, coming back and soaking in the private hot spring bath was incredibly relaxing!"
Garden Hotel SUZHOU
"Although it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained. The hotel's own garden is beautiful, and there's the former residence of Chiang Wei-kuo and the 571 Project site within the hotel grounds, which you can book through the hotel for a visit. The breakfast at the Yi Jiangnan restaurant is decent, offering local Suzhou snacks. I believe the service could be improved. I hope Nanyuan Hotel continues to flourish!"
Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou
"Staying at the Shangri-La Suzhou on Shishan Road was an incredibly satisfying experience overall. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in. The room was clean and quiet, and the bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices and tasted great. It's very convenient if you're traveling by car, and the view of Shishan Mountain from the window is lovely. There's a snack street nearby and Longfor Tianjie shopping mall across the street, making dining options abundant. The afternoon tea on the top floor was excellent, and you can even enjoy a complimentary light meal. I was extremely pleased with my stay."
Yuanzi Hostel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road)
"I love this bnb so much. Super clean room and nice beddings. How I wish I can spend few more nights there. The staff are all very friendly. The complementary hi-tea was indeed wonderful. Having great days in Suzhou with Yuanzi, including Yuan Bao & Fa Chai."
Crowne Plaza SUZHOU by IHG
"The hotel's location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Right outside, you'll find Jinji Lake promenade, a public square, and Suzhou Center. The front desk lady was exceptionally kind; she noticed I had two different room types booked for consecutive nights and proactively upgraded me to a room with a better view, saving me the hassle of changing rooms. I just regret not getting her name! These two days were definitely the most comfortable during my entire stay in Suzhou. I'll definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends."
Zhuoyu Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Pingjiang Street)
"Location is less than 1 min walk from didi/taxi drop off point but no shelter. Cinema located less than 3 min from hotel too. Prime location in guan qian street. Room cleanliness is best, bed is not too soft/not too hard, bed mattress is just nice for, the wooden seat table is spacious for oversize and best for supper! Toilet and shower are separated but toilet bowl has no bidet, bidet is installed with shower head. Sound proof is ok, light off at night is perfect. Washing machine has detergent offered, no softener but fragnant wise is nice, they also have dryer. Washing machine and dryer are not linked to tv app, need to self-time, located at lvl2 and lvl5, we stay at lvl 5 so its convenient for us. USB plug directly from power point. Fridge is good. Aircon is good. Water heater is good. Shower head water outlet is strong. TV is huge!"
