It was my first time staying in a Japanese-style B&B, and I was amazed. The private bath was very well designed. I was able to get up close and personal with Lake Taihu. The breakfast was also great, and the front desk guy had a very good service attitude, which was considerate and meticulous. It was a wonderful experience.

The hotel is on Hengshan Island. The room faces the lake and the bridge, and the scenery is very good. The room is clean, and the decoration is fresh and clean in Japanese style. The semi-outdoor private bath is very comfortable. It is very pleasant to drink some wine while soaking! By the way, plum wine is also provided with the room! The hotel brother has very good service. He picks up the car at the island entrance, takes the luggage, and provides thoughtful service throughout the check-in process. He also recommends nearby attractions. There are welcome fruits after check-in, and the mini bar is all free! The breakfast on the second day is also great! The only drawback is that there are more small flying insects and flies by the lake, and the dogs in the village will wake you up in the morning. Overall, it is a very good homestay experience. I will come again if I have the chance!

As a hotel lover, I wanted to take a detour to Suzhou Xishan during the Qingming Festival holiday. I found Shiodome among several pet-friendly hotels. Before checking in, I asked which one was pet-friendly and arranged dog supplies in advance. We chose the east and west rooms, both of which have great views! The interior decoration details, sliding doors, and countertop design materials of the room are all good, and the details and vegetation planning of the courtyard are also very artistic. It really felt like I was traveling to Japan for a second. The Japanese private bath (the little brother suggested bringing a swimsuit in advance) is equipped with bath salts and masks, and there is even grapefruit wine! When we mentioned that we wanted to go to Baoshan Temple, they also sent us other recommended classics along the way 5) There are outdoor slippers, so you can relax throughout the hotel 6) The service brother has a lively eye. When he saw us holding water, he helped to get a bag to put it in.
