Hotels near Palmetto Fuit Farm, Takayama

Hotel is in a very good location being very near to the Old Town where the attractions and restaurants are. However there is limited parking space, and we had to park in a public car park 100m away. Staff were friendly, but communication was a little difficult as they were not very conversant in English. Overall nice hotel.

Although the hotel has car parking spaces, the slope at the door is not recommended for passengers pulling suitcases. The rooms are all elegant design, the bathrooms for both sexes are Japanese-style public bathhouses, the interior of the room is simple and clean, there is a TV and comfortable bed, you must also recommend the breakfast here, you can order a main meal and self-service coffee and drinks.

Muro-San and everyone is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel good and happy. The housekeeper was helpful too. Even though we do not understand what we were trying to say, they bothered to explain and even took out a translator so that we can communicate with better communication. Our needs were fulfilled. This is a ryokan built in 1850. It is located next to the river and opposite the Honkoji Temple. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the core attractions such as Baibi Tuzang Street. The old style of the whole hotel still exists, from entry slippers, welcome snacks, green tea soup, warm service, thoughtful details, the hotel is quiet, there is always a feeling of crossing. The main feature of this restaurant is actually Japanese, and dinner is banquet. The price is certainly not low, but value for money! The breakfast and dinner are great, it is worth trying, the breakfast is rich and varied, the breakfast every day is like a work of art, and the utensils are very eye-catching. Dinner was set for one night at 8,800 yen per person, which is the most expensive and most hearty meal in Japan. At dinner, the hotel thoughtfully took a picture for us, and the photo will be given away at breakfast the next day. The hot springs open from morning to night. You can choose to go to breakfast before dinner, before dinner, and after dinner. There are very few people. Many times are reserved for one person. Cozy. Even if it is close to Hida Furukawa Station, as long as you ask for it, the hotel will still arrange a shuttle bus.

The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. Breakfast is adequate with a good selection of hot dishes, Japanese and continental. Overall a great hotel in Takayama

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Takayama Station. The soup house is relatively small, there are free bicycles to use, small gifts to leave the store, and a taxi was also called for help.

Just returned from a 12 day tour Treasures of Japan with Mercury Holidays, we stayed at this hotel for two nights, excellent hotel very clean and comfortable with everything you needed for your stay, you can enjoy the hot spring baths the ladies and gentlemen go separately as no clothing is worn, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel runs a shuttle service into Takayama you are given a time table on arrival, a supermarket is just over the road from the hotel, we enjoyed full days sightseeing around Takayama with our guide Inage, enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend this hotel.

Vicinissimo alla stazione, si raggiunge in pochi minuti l'edificio, si prende la scala mobile e si sale al primo piano dove è presente la reception. Le stanze doppie sono nella media delle stanze giapponesi, quindi piccole, ma tutto sommato tranquille. Nell'hotel è presente servizio di lavanderia fai-da-te ed è possibile (anche se non ci sono andato) usufruire dell'onsen; difficoltà di comunicazione con il personale della reception. La cosa più simpatica dell'hotel resta il sarubobo gigante (ossia la bambola-amuleto tipica della cittadina) che staziona all'ingresso della reception. Consigliato per chi è di passaggio per Takayama e per chi vuole una base di partenza per la visita al caratteristico paese di Shirakawa-go.
