I booked late in the peak season but I was quite satisfied !! The hot springs on the rooftop (?) were also good. The rooms are a bit narrow ㅠㅠㅠ

This is a beautiful self contained apartment on 2 levels. Downstairs is a bathroom/shower and living area. Upstairs a bedroom with a small terrace. Access is by door code supplied by the owner or in our case Booking.com. Unfortunately guests in the other apartment had not been given the door code by their booking agent and did not speak English or Japanese. Fortunately we were able to phone the owner for them. Definitely a communication problem by their booking agent or a language issue by the owner. The apartment is very ''Japanese'' in the sense that the bed is only about 1 foot off the ground. The lounge was also low and uncomfortable and the dining table was so low that it could not be eaten off nor used for a computer. This was extremely annoying. There was also not a single chair in the apartment. Overall even though immaculate the apartment was poorly designed. The kitchen was huge but nowhere to sit and eat!! After we had booked we sought to contact the owners to extend our booking but they had no English language skills at all and we had a frustrating series of emails back which did not help. As we could not stay an extra night (it was festival weekend) we then needed to move to another hotel for a single night whereas we would have preferred to stay at ItoMori.

We were 4 to, this traditional Japanese hotel, in a single room with tatami and sleeping on the ground. Typical Japanese breakfast and dinner equals two days. We take advantage of,go to the onsen. It is inexcellent location6, excellent and good quality food treatment. Very good experience. We offer you free transport service to the train or bus station. There is a store at the first floor with typical products. You must leave the shoes at the, enter the hotel and go with shoes inside that give you them
Hotel Wood Takayama

My favorite hotel in Takayama. The hotel has a sense of design, good service, clean bath (but small) and a lot of Hida pure milk ice cream to eat. There are soft drinks available all day, and you can also try more than a dozen kinds of sake for free. The breakfast is delicious and beautiful. There are also many Hida drinks and milk dairy products to drink. Later we lived in Takayama Sakura. When we wanted to have a drink after the soup at night and found that there was no lemonade at the front desk, we sighed that if we were in wood in this climate, we must have started drinking soft drinks.

Convenient location ~ Located about ten minutes near the Nongfei bus stop, the street is very good along the way There are restaurants, handwritten letters and specialty shops The most important thing is that all the staff are very helpful. I am very troublesome to ask them to help send the luggage to another hotel in Kanazawa. They also super helpful super grateful ~ I just chose the cheapest room type, so the room is not very special, but everything is complete and a very favorite hotel

I like the Tanabe hotel very much. The grandma is very cute. Japanese introduced us to some of the hotel facilities in English. He took us to choose a bathrobe and asked us where we came from. Then I said thank you in Chinese. Then I introduced the hotel wall. The calligraphy on it was written by her dad. Her dad is an artist. It is really great. The grandma in the hotel are all dressed in kimonos. They prepare dinner for us after a busy day and then introduce the menu. The dinner was super rich and we were stunned. It is banquet cuisine. It is richer than kaiseki cuisine. Every dish is exquisite and delicious. The seafood is fresh. There are two or three slices of Hida beef. Did not eat a very special flavor, but the meat is not old, okay, we have a total of four people occupy a room to enjoy this hearty banquet cuisine, beautiful.
