The Von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn
4.3/577 Reviews
The surrounding environment is quiet. The hotel is not far from the urban area. On the way back to the hotel from the ferry pier, I went to the old city wall of Sweden, which took about 40 minutes. The breakfast is very rich. This hotel is worth living in again.

Tallinn Old Town
A great hotel with a beautiful location in the center. There is a spacious interior courtyard and a recreation area. The breakfast was very dense and delicious. Clean room 10 out of 10, no complaints. There was also a big TV, although I don 't need it, a small refrigerator and a safe. I will definitely return here when I am in Tallinn.
Hotel l'Ermitage
4.2/585 Reviews
The choice to upgrade the room to one with air conditioning was the right choice, since there was a heatwave in Tallinn during our stay. The room was very roomy and quiet, too. The staff at the lobby bar were helpful and ready even to prepare a whiskey sour for us, even though it is not the most typical drinks choice. All in all, very very comfortable!

The hotel is located in the centre, just a few minutes from the hotel, and very friendly and helpful staff.
Mercure Tallinn
4.5/580 Reviews
This if former ”Ulemiste hotel”, recently rebranded to ”Mercure”. If not mistaking, some period during and post-covid it was not functioning. From interior/exterior point of view nothing much changed, even colours and furniture remained original from previous hotel. Food quality during breakfast slightly improved, didn't try restaurant onsite, but must say bar doesn't have draught beer, only bottled. Bed was comfortable, sound insulation reasonable. The only downside - permanently changing temperature of water from hot to cold. Parking free for hotel guests. 100m from hotel - large ”Ulemiste” shopping mall with many shops and places to eat. Overall would recomend, if you don't desperatelly want to stay in old city. Myself would stay if price offer is attractive only.
Hestia Hotel Ilmarine

Kalamaja
The hotel is enclosed in a glass ”box” so some of the rooms don't have direct view to the street. It was one of the few hotels that offered the possibility to check-in late, therefore it was perfect for our night arrival. The room was cozy and spacious with lots of storage for personal belongings, a desk and a minibar. It was like promised in the pictures and had comfortable mattress, international TV channels, kettle and refreshments. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even a bottle opener! The breakfast was good with reasonable selection.
