The HGI Oldsmar is one of my favorite hotels to stay at. They just got renovated and everything is brand new and beautiful. The location is awesome, not far from the airport and a bunch of really good restaurants are within a 2 minute drive and a few you can even walk to. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and they have a delicious breakfast.

Family of four, including kids, stayed 7 nights. We had visited a few hotels in the area and this one was the cleanest, staff was very polite and helpful, and they provided hot breakfast to-go every morning. Nancy, Estela, and Betty at the breakfast stand were exceptional.

The location is great for traveling. It would be great if you are traveling as a family. It's geographically close to going to downtown Tampa or Clearwater.

The nicest Hampton Inn we've ever had the place of staying is the best way to describe this hotel. The room we had was large, not a suite, with a nice big desk, sofa, shelf unit, and very comfortable bed. The hallway was very quiet even though a lot of people were staying here including the Toronto Blue Jays minor leaguers. We would definitely stay here again, if in the area. The staff was very welcoming and able to answer questions about the area.

We have stayed at this property many times. This time there was construction ongoing for our entire stay of six nights, including days with no water. I would think that should have been disclosed PRIOR to checking in so we could have had the option of staying elsewhere. Our room was on the third floor, the construction was on the second floor. Every morning banging, three days with the water shut off mid afternoon. And the construction vehicles took up rows of overnight parking, which left your guests trying to find a spot and walking long distances at night. I would expect more from Marriott, the very least a prior notification so it wouldn't have been a surprise on our vacation, and a discount on the room which was not as expected. The breakfast offerings are minimal, not what they were. Instant oatmeal, no fresh fruit other than bananas, no waffle station. Packaged items and instant eggs ... Our room was clean, as was the lobby and breakfast area. The hallways and stairs had not been vacuumed the entire week of our stay.

We stopped and stayed here after a trip we were on was extended a day and we had an early flight to catch. Check in was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and the location was great as it was minutes to the airport, which was great with a 6 am flight with 3 kids and 7 people total. Our only complaint was the laundromat services were only available until 9. We spent the day at the beach and just planned to wash and pack our beach things once we had come back from dinner. Once we got back from dinner the hotel laundromat was about to close. There was a coin mat about mins up the road , so it wasnt the hugest inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have the on site laundromat available 24 hours or even until midnight. We travel for sports a lot and this is the first time we have encountered this.

I booked last minute with points. Was given an excellent waterfront room. I had a couple of hours to kill so I checked out the bike loan. They had NEW well maintained bikes in a variety of sizes. I was fitted and provided a helmet and lock. I am a Hyatt globalist. Breakfast was nice and I got a $30 voucher to make up for the lounge being closed. It paid for lunch at Oyster Catchers. My only regret is they do not have an airport shuttle.

This hotel rocked it! Hurricane Ian was heading our way so we made reservations as we are in Zone A and needed to evacuate. Large rooms, hot and great pressure showers, serving hot breakfast during hurricane, offered pumpkin pie and were super friendly and accommodating! Also our bed was very comfortable! Housekeeping kept checking to see if we needed towels and the front desk couldn’t have been more pleasant during stressful time! Thank you so much! Would definitely stay here again!

One bedroom apartment with a view of the bay. Clean pool, firepit and sand area for beach volleyball. No actual bay swimming, but you are not far from the beaches. Great staff that are pleasant and courteous. Full kitchen with dishwashers. Yes, the bathrooms can be updated but they are clean. Queen size bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. For 2 it suits our needs. Close to Yankee Spring Training, the airport and several beaches. Housekeeping has a schedule that has been changed by Covid, but housekeeping is always bringing fresh towels for our use. No pet policy is fine with us!!
