Best Hotels in Tauberzell

We spent a night here on a city trip to Rothenburg. We were very friendly and got a beautiful, newly renovated and spacious room in the guest house 5 minutes away. The room right under the roof had only a relatively small roof window. Very comfortable. We have very well sleeped because the small place Taubercell is very quiet. The restaurant has typical French dishes, we think very cheap. We had a very beautiful oxyberry tasteful for cake and a cut with potato staples (Pommes-Fritz). These have been very excited by my wife, who has high demands just here :-), and the breakfast that Corona has served on the place has also exceeded our expectations with eggs, yoghurt, sauce and cheese plate, melons and radians. This is the friendly and fast service and the chef who cares personally for the guests. In summary, a land hotel as it should be.

Friendly reception, clean room, seat (so no bag that, drag up stairs), swimming pool, a table for dinner would still be possible quickly. The service is very nice. The food was average (sausy for the, spezle out of the, bag?). Unfortunately, the tables and, banks of another gastronomy, which hosts their guests until much after midnight are directly opposite to the other side of the street. As a result, it was noisy until the guests finally went home ... Then ten minutes clipped with the wallpaper, then rest. The hotel is absolutely recommended as a station to continue to the south!

I stayed there for business and a company event. The room was excellent with a balcony and air conditioning. All was new and modern and nothing to complain about. The food was good and breakfast buffet offers everything for every taste. The hotel lies a bit outside Dinkelsbühl, app. 800 m to get to the city center, so not too far. In contrast to all the historic building this is a contrast to major accomodation you find in Dinkelbühl. It is ultra modern. Parking is very easy there is a parking facility opposite the hotel. There are major constructions going on in the distance, but as the parking garage is between this, no trouble at all. The outside area is nice and the bar is very good and offers a vast range of cocktails. So this is a very modern hotel near one of the most prettiest medieval towns in Germany. Good for bigger group. And dogs are allowed.

The hotel is very close to attractions, and the environment and rooms are very nostalgic and classic. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. The hotel was very considerate and gave us small gifts (gummy candies) on the bed. It's a pity that there is no air conditioning, but when we stayed it was in the teens (12-20 degrees), which was okay; and our room was next to the road, so it was a bit noisy, but it was acceptable. If you open the window, you will hear the bell ringing from time to time! So we closed the windows and slept. There is an Italian restaurant opposite the hotel, which is delicious and affordable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

Foreign hotels are like that, the same price can not be compared with the domestic, one is the room is small, the room service is Samsung, chain fast grade, in addition to more greetings, there is breakfast, when you go abroad, you can eat your stomach with your eyes closed. It is impossible to have your domestic standards and tastes!

We were delighted with our two night stay here! We booked an “extra large” room and it was huge! The bed was extremely comfortable and the space was quiet. The shower was large and wonderful. The enormous bathtub was a treat as well. There’s a furnished patio area in front of the building where we were able to relax with a glass of wine after a day of visiting Wurzburg and exploring Rothenburg. We appreciated the included parking and easy access from the highway. In my view, Alter Ego combines the advantages of an Airbnb (independence and kitchen facilities) with those of a high calibre hotel (staff available - at Villa Mittermeier next door - to assist and/or answer questions). Each of the three staff people with who we had some interaction were polite, kind, and helpful. We didn’t realize it till we were on the verge of departure but there are laundry facilities available at Alter Ego. In short, if we were ever going to visit Rothenburg again this would absolutely be our first choice for accommodation.
