Pleasant small hotel. Onsen is nice. There is a second one outside, which can be accessed by a door at the main onsen. No bathroom in room. Was adjacent to a smoking room which was annoying

Very old building, no A/C, tatami is dirty, outdoor public bath is full of dead flies and indoor public bath surrounded by mould
Apparently need maintenance and renovation
My husband and I couldn’t sleep all night because need sharing of bathroom, wall and door of room is too thin that hear everyone walking and talking when they pass by, that’s too noisy
Only pro is they include dinner and breakfast ( but don’t expect too much on the food )

温泉付き宿の値段として満足出来ました。
温泉は重曹泉でいわゆる美人の湯です。

温泉街からは少し離れているものの、川湯温泉駅から徒歩3分とアクセスが良く、大きなペンションのような洋風の外観ですが内部は和風です。男女別の内湯と露天風呂のほかに、少し離れた裏庭に混浴の露天風呂があります。混浴風呂は和風庭園の岩風呂で、硫黄山を眺めることができて開放感もあります。お湯は美肌効果のある重曹泉で肌がツルツルになりました。温度もぬるめなので癒されました。部屋の内装はリニューアルされていましたが、壁やドアが薄いためか、どこからともなく話声やイビキが聞こえてくるので耳栓が必須でした。なお、宿泊料金が格安で、さらに町の観光キャンペーンで3,000円割引だったので不満はありません。

緊急事態宣言下では、夕飯時のアルコール提供は止めた方が良いと思います。
安宿なのでアルコール飲んでぺちゃくちゃ喋ってる客層にひきました。
設備などは安宿なので旅館やホテルだと思って行くと痛い目をみます。

インターネットで予約できる宿泊施設が少ない地域で、大変リーズナブルな料金で頑張ってられると思います。
ですから施設に必要以上の快適さを求める方が無理と言うもの。 朝・夕食付きでしたが、特に美味しいとは言えないものの、品数多く調理場の努力を感じました。

Agodaで予約しておじさん2名で予約しましたが朝有飯付けて8900円／人でした。宿の周りには飲食店無いので夕ご飯は付けた方が風呂上がりにそのまま浴衣で飯食べれるから楽です。温泉は硫黄山の裏に有るので硫黄臭するのかと思いましたが無味無臭です。源泉掛け流しで良いお湯です。私には結構熱いお湯でした。外につっかけで行く露天風呂有りました。混浴ではなかった
