Berjaya Tioman Resort
4.2/540 Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Berjaya Tioman Resort, and I must say it was a memorable experience. Located on the beautiful Tioman Island in Malaysia, this resort offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, comfortable accommodation, and excellent service. First and foremost, the location of Berjaya Tioman Resort is breathtaking. Surrounded by lush greenery and pristine beaches, the resort provides a tranquil and serene atmosphere. The crystal-clear waters of the South China Sea, coupled with the vibrant marine life, make it a paradise for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. The resort also offers various water sports activities, ensuring there's never a dull moment. The rooms at the resort are spacious, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. I stayed in a chalet that was nestled amidst the tropical rainforest, offering a private and peaceful retreat. The amenities provided were top-notch, including a comfortable bed, a private balcony, and modern bathroom facilities. However, it's worth noting that some of the rooms could benefit from minor renovations to maintain a more modern look. The staff at Berjaya Tioman Resort were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. From the moment I checked in to the day of departure, the staff members were courteous and made sure my needs were met. The housekeeping team did an excellent job of keeping the room clean and tidy throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The resort offers a variety of dining options, ranging from local Malaysian cuisine to international dishes. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of both Western and Asian choices, ensuring there was something for everyone. The seafood served at the beachfront restaurant was particularly fresh and delicious, and the beach BBQ nights were a delightful experience. However, it's important to note that the resort could improve in terms of maintenance and upkeep. Some areas of the property showed signs of wear and tear, such as faded paint or broken tiles. While this did not significantly impact my overall experience, it's an aspect that management should pay attention to. In conclusion, Berjaya Tioman Resort is a tropical haven that offers a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The stunning location, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, and delightful dining experiences make it a highly recommended choice for those seeking a relaxing beach vacation. With a few improvements in maintenance, this resort has the potential to become an even more exceptional destination.

It’s very close to the pier, and to the right is the hotel. In the evening, I will have a barbecue dinner facing the sea. It’s so comfortable. Duty-free island. Beer is super cheap. You can drink it casually. The facilities are new, but there is no wifi. Traffic, pay attention to this village digi cannot be used, directly without service, hotlink 4G full grid. Most of this village is floating on the water and has all-inclusive services. We went to sea fishing, and the harvest was full.

Gorgeous beach resort. Travelled for a short dive escape with my parents joining me. The resort is at Kampung Juara, a 30-minute 4WD journey through the island jungle from the Kampung Tekek pier. I was fine with the 'little adventure' but my mum wasn't into it, not her cup of tea. Consequently, take note of this, who you bring along. We booked the superior family chalet. Spacious, clean with sufficient power points. Wifi signal is so-so. Thankfully, the celcom telco signal is rather reliable in my room. During my 4-day stay, there were at least one intermittent power trips daily but were resolved within a minute. I had already came across this reviews before making the reservation, so I was anticipating this. The only time, I felt frustrated when it happened while watching movies on the TV set. I will have to turn it on again and forwarded the timeline to where the video last stopped. The aircon and fan will resume when the power is restored. Most of the staff are friendly. The restaurant's food is pricier than those of the neighboring cafes/resorts, yet they are delectable. There is a wide selection of choices available. The beach was certainly stunning, yet unfortunately certain parts of it were plagued with sand flies, due to the remnants of food left by guests. We were blessed on the 2nd day of our stay when a turtle conservation centre close by released baby turtles right infront the resort. I would like to express my thanks to my divemaster Benny and dive mate Sen, who makes the stay more enjoyable.
