One of the most satisfactory hotels in Xinjiang, the room is relatively large, the overall feeling is very transparent, and the hygiene is quite good.
The hotel is located in the new urban area, and the overall layout is quite comfortable.
Warm porridge at night: There are not many things, but it is just right for simple meals at night, suitable for babies who don't want to go out for food at night after a long journey.
There is a Hotan rose pilaf near the hotel, which is within walking distance, and the lamb kebabs taste great.
The only drawback is that the water pressure of the hotel is unstable at night, and the bath water is sometimes cold and sometimes hot, which is unexpected.

We chose the Starlight Room with twin beds at Chao Ke Starlight Camp again. The camp has moved outside the scenic area now, which is a bit less convenient than its previous location inside, where you could just ”open the door and see the lake.” If you're planning an in-depth tour of the scenic area, you'll need to factor in a bit more travel time for round trips. Despite the change in location, the front desk service was a huge plus. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, and even proactively offered us complimentary breakfast, which made us feel incredibly valued. The room facilities are comprehensive, and the starlight room design is really unique. Lying in bed at night, you can see the starry sky over Sayram Lake, which the kids absolutely loved. The cleanliness and overall environment were well-maintained; it was clean, tidy, and very comfortable.
The hotel is very nice, with a rich breakfast and freshly ground coffee. The room was clean and tidy, and the amenities were good. However, I wasn't very satisfied with the service. The air conditioning in the room was very ineffective and it was extremely hot. I reported this to the front desk, but no one responded, and I didn't get a good night's sleep.
Room was spacious and overlooks a pond. There is a separate shower and toilet area. Toilet bowl is automatic and can be a challenge to use as the lid sometimes closes without warning. Shower flooring is anti-slip and water temperature of the shower was easy to adjust.
Hotel only has two lifts, and this can make going up and down a hassle especially when guests on other floors take a long time to enter and exit the lifts.
Hotel is located far from the Kuche night market but along a street with its own set of shops including a well frequented supermarket with a good range of items.
Staff generally pleasant and responsive. Staff arrived quickly when there was some issue with connecting to the Wi-Fi and when the room ran out of hand soap.
Breakfast spread was acceptable with a good selection of steamed, fried, cooked and cold dishes but breakfast only starts at 8am, which is rather late for those needing to catch a morning flight.
The hotel staff were very enthusiastic. There's a large supermarket nearby, plenty of dining options, and the night market is just a short walk away. It's also very close to the observation tower. We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room, but the staff were very proactive in resolving it. They upgraded us to a better room for free and even gave us breakfast vouchers. The hotel breakfast was also very generous.
This is my first time writing such a detailed review, and I just have to give this place a shout-out, even though my photos are pretty mediocre.
I was in Altay for a business trip, and I wasn't thrilled with the hotel my partner booked. So I switched to this one, and I definitely made the right choice.
I absolutely loved the hotel's vibe. It seemed like a lot of ski enthusiasts were staying here. It's quite new, and the layout is exactly to my liking.
The breakfast was truly excellent. They had rice noodles, which I, a 'southern big potato,' love, and also regular noodles. The laundry room wasn't crowded, and there was a lovely lady in the lobby – she was so beautiful! It seems attractive people gravitate towards attractive hotels. They also have their own coffee bar, and the in-room capsule coffee machine was my absolute favorite.
The location is super convenient, right on the main street in the city center, with snowy landscapes on both sides. There are various restaurants right outside the main entrance.
The room was spacious enough to fit most ski equipment. It's clear they really understand the ski market. They also offer airport pickup, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely bring my family here next time, and I want to stay in a duplex!

The hotel is only an 8-minute walk from the high-speed rail station, which is super convenient even with luggage, making early morning high-speed train departures a breeze. The soundproofing was surprisingly excellent; I wasn't disturbed by track noise at all and slept very soundly. The room was clean and tidy, with a practical wet and dry separation in the bathroom, and the internet speed was lightning fast. Front desk service was efficient, and the 0-second check-out was incredibly convenient. It's my top choice for business layovers, offering incredible value for money!

Excellent! The hotel elevators require a key card to go up, which made me feel very secure and at ease. The lobby was lively and had a distinctive Xinjiang flair – really nice! The room was spacious, clean, and had great natural light. Even the shampoo smelled good, and the bathtub filled up quickly. The bedding was also very comfortable. I'm truly satisfied, it's genuinely great. Plus, there's a Wanda Plaza nearby for convenient shopping. It's also very close to both the airport and the train station, making travel incredibly easy and fast. Honestly, it's just really, really good. Front desk staff member NZ was particularly outstanding – professional, attentive, and responsible. They even followed up on my stay after I checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch!
I always stay here when I come to General Mountain Ski Resort in Altay. The service is always excellent; they offer hot tea upon arrival and provide delicious yogurt daily. The airport and daily ski shuttle service is very convenient. The rooms are large and spacious, with heating and air conditioning, making them very comfortable.
The hotel's location is truly excellent. Although it's a bit of a distance from the ancient city, the surrounding area has everything you need – shopping malls and supermarkets are all readily available. This makes it incredibly convenient for shopping or heading out to attractions, especially when you're traveling with children.
The room was more spacious than we expected. Our twin room comfortably accommodated two adults and two children without feeling crowded at all. The wardrobe and desk offered ample space for our luggage and the kids' toys.
The laundry room on the first floor is equipped with six washers and dryers, and complimentary detergent is provided. We even went at 10 PM and didn't have to wait, which was fantastic. For families with young children, this is a huge plus as it completely solves the hassle of managing lots of dirty clothes.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay. We would definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip!

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. It even had an oxygen supply system! The whole room was smart-controlled. The front desk lady was incredibly nice and soft-spoken, and she even upgraded our room. When the staff on our floor brought us something and saw we hadn't turned on the oxygen system, they immediately helped us activate it and set up the humidifier as well. The breakfast selection was also very rich and varied! Five-star recommendation all the way!
LLizhixiaodianxiaFacilities: Although it's a tent, it has floor heating, so it's very warm at night. I feel like it's perfect for beginners who want to try camping but are worried about rough conditions. It's very friendly for camping newbies. The bathroom is a brick structure and also has floor heating, so showering isn't cold at all, and the water is nice and hot. In fact, we were so tired the first night that we just crashed and showered the next morning. Afterwards, we felt wonderfully warm and incredibly comfortable. In summer, there's air conditioning, a fan, and a humidifier. That humidifier at the hotel genuinely saved me later – heaven knows, as a Southerner, my nose bled on the first day in Kashgar from the dryness, and no amount of moisturizer or water helped.
Hygiene: It's quite clean; it feels like a newly built campsite.
Environment: It's a bit far from Taxkorgan town, but if the weather is good, you might be able to stargaze. Unfortunately, it rained the night we stayed. There's a wetland nearby, which is truly beautiful. I'll just post pictures of the tent's interior, haha.
Service: The campsite is a bit large, but I don't think walking around takes too long. Still, the hotel provides a shuttle service, with staff helping with luggage and transfers, which is great! There's also a particularly cute big fluffy chicken, hahahaha~
QQuyezuhe-Geographic location: The hotel is located in the city center, commercial center, tourist attractions, etc. The hotel is located in a bustling commercial center, surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants, shopping and dining are very convenient.
- Transportation convenience: The hotel is close to the railway station and other transportation hubs, and public transportation is convenient nearby, making it very convenient to go to various attractions.
XXiao BaiWe were very pleasantly surprised by the stunning location and very modern style of this boutique B&B hotel! We received a first class welcome from the staff and a welcome tray, with refreshing herbal tea and snacks, that was served on the patio of our room with a stunning view of the adjacent river valley. So relaxing just sitting there in our room's deck chairs sipping tea!
The whole property felt brand new and very well appointed based on the vision of its architect owner.
The special chicken based hotpot dinner they served us in the restaurant was a feast of a meal for 2.
The room amenities included a hanging swing chair that was positioned to take advantage of the view out the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river and valley beyond it. We didn't have a TV in the room but we did not miss it, after dark we both enjoyed relaxing reading the books we brought with us.
We enjoyed a personalized breakfast before having to leave early the next day, with regrets that we couldn't stay longer.
Highly recommend this modern but relaxing boutique hotel, especially if you have time to stay a few days.

GGuest UserElla is a conscientious and gracious host who has cultivated a warm and fun environment. I had a great experience sleeping in the comfortable dorm which was a very fair price by China standards as well. Facilities are new and clean. I slept well on a comfy bed in a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s still very close to the ancient city. Also you can take a taxi directly to her Homestay whereas in the ancient city you have to carry your bags at least a few hundred meters from taxi drop off. Ella was patient and answered all of my touristic questions while caring for the other guests too. Also she often prepares a potluck meal for a fair price. I met many interesting travellers here too so if you are looking for a good base to rest that meets your social and touristic needs as well Ella’s home is the place for you. Probably my favorite hostel in my month in China. Shame I have to leave. The private rooms look quite cozy as well
GGuest UserThe locations is nice, close to or in the grape valley, service is friendly, we stayed at the family room which is a duplex and had a good sleep. For the high price of 1.200 Yuan would have expected lights at entrance area of complex, more luxurious reception area (currently more Chinese boarding house style), bedside tables with lights, more than a basic breakfast.
It’s a nice place for 300-500 max, for 1200 you usually get a luxury resort and service in China.
GGuest UserIt was my first time to visit Keketuohai. I stayed at this B&B and it was clear from the interior design that the owner was very attentive! The atmosphere created by the colorful chandeliers is very warm, and the carpets and pillows with ethnic patterns are very local. When the oversized floor-to-ceiling windows open the curtains, you can see the snow-capped peaks and pure snow scenery. It is very beautiful🥹 It's like being in a painting. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also very convenient to go to the ski resort, which is very suitable for those who want to experience skiing! The living facilities are also complete. The boss entertained us very warmly. The experience is very good and the price is high. I will choose this hotel next time I have the opportunity~

GGuest UserVery good experience, it is rare to live in such a hotel in Xinjiang, and we picked up a cheap, more than 600 yuan, booked a good room in this hotel. Some facilities in the hotel have not been built yet, and there is also a basketball court and badminton court gym in the hotel. The waiter's service attitude is very good. The room was also very comfortable, they had floor heating and could see the sunset in the hotel. The hotel is right next to the Sea Devil City, and you can use the hotel's room card to limit access to the Sea Devil.
GGuest UserOne of the most beautiful hostels I have been. It starts with the amazing location, along this very quiet street filled with local restaurants from where you can have many nice walks to enjoy the surroundings. The hostel has many different relax areas, your biggest problem will be choosing whether to chill in the amazing terrace upstairs, in the covered garden or in the super nicely furnished cafe downstairs. The owner speaks the most perfect English and she's so nice and helpful, we didn't have much time to chat but she felt like a very smart and nice person. From the hostel you can get a choice of different day tours to explore the area. What else... It's also very clean, there are rules about quiet time at night... Just a perfect place! Highly recommended
JJiulongdadaodongThe hotel is clean, the ingredients are good, the quality is good, I will stay here again next time.
I was given yogurt and candy as soon as I checked in, which was very considerate. Especially when I saw that there were children with me, they automatically gave me another portion. Not bad
