Room was clean. Coffee and tea were generous. Bathroom was well lit and mostly clean, but things are a little worn or cracked in corners and edges. Bed was comfortable and linens were soft and smooth. The reception was a grand area with stylish furniture. Staff is courteous and helpful. Oh yeah, so I went to the hotel gym for a light workout. As I am busting out some dumbbell curls and presses I notice this older guy in washed denim overalls with one strap hanging down and a slim female trainer exercising next to me. She spoke with a slight accent, which was curious to me. Then I realized that the guy was Bruce Springsteen. Hah! Well, nothing unusual- just people staying fit. I finished my workout and went on my way. It is a nice hotel with a great location.

Stayed here one night while passing through Tulsa. The hotel is pretty new and is in a great location; it’s walking distance to plenty of restaurants. There’s also a rooftop bar with a great view of the city. It’s open to the public which is slightly odd. We didn’t know it was Pride so we’re surprised at how busy the city and the hotel were. Checking in wasn’t the best. Despite booking two rooms they put us on different floors. I understand it was a busy night but I know for a fact plenty of other groups were put on the same floor. They did eventually move up to the same floor but only after some negotiation. The rooms themselves were nice and clean. The room with one bed felt much larger and had a seating area. The bathroom was good too with a decent shower. There was a very loud fan in the bathroom that would not turn off which was annoying. Despite the room being nice, everything went downhill from there. There was a large group of people staying on our floor who were divided between at least four rooms. They had clearly been drinking all day and were being very rowdy. From 10pm onwards they kept coming in and out of all their rooms, making an insane amount of noise in the corridor. They were shouting, arguing and taking really loudly. They kept all the doors to their rooms open and were basically treating the hallway as an extension of their rooms. We rang the front desk multiple times to get them to talk to the people but they did nothing helpful. I think they maybe sent someone up at one point but it did nothing. We even tried to reason with them but got nowhere. The hotel staff dealt with the situation very badly. They should never have allowed a group that large into the hotel. Spreading them over an entire floor was always going to be a bad idea. I can’t say I’d recommend this hotel. It doesn’t seem well run despite looking good and being in a nice location.

We were there for the Eagles concert and were flying out the next morning. Hotel is very dated, although trying to act like they're better than they are. Not there much, but after wife washed her face the sink was stopped up and filled with ugly grey-black water. Best part of hotel is the location and easy shuttle to airport.

GGuest UserThere was a prolonged heat dome over Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago and it was no time for a hotel's AC to be having problems, but alas that was the case with the Aloft Tulsa Downtown. Two rooms we were given on the 10th floor had thermostat set to 68 but room temperatures of 79 and 81. Then we got moved to the 3rd floor, which was good the first day but then had the same problem the second day. The afternoon/evening desk person was nice and apologetic each time we came with an issue. Eventually a maintenance guy came up to the room at 10:30 at night and worked on it for a while. He managed to get it to where the temp would top out at 75 or so, which was livable. But it wasn't just a room issue; the whole hotel seemed to be struggling, as corridors were not cool and the desk people were keeping the lobby door open and had a large fan blowing at them. Otherwise, the room was clean and enjoyable, with a high ceiling and plenty of boutique touches similar to other Alofts. One of us didn't like how the bathroom was arranged with a sliding door and no good place to put the bathmat after a shower. The other of us was okay with the layout but didn't like that the middle position of the bathroom faucet gives hot water to drink. There are food items including a variety of items for breakfast on sale in the lobby. There is a pool that guests seemed to be enjoying and an outdoor table area and patio from which we could watch sunsets. The morning desk person had lots of interesting advice for things to see or do in Tulsa or outlying areas. For what it's worth, the Apple Maps app has the wrong idea where the hotel is and will take you to location that does you no good. You need to go to Denver and Fifth, then past the Tulsa County Central Library, and that's where the entrance is. Then once you've found it, there's a gate that has to open for you, both entering and leaving. And if you're just out for a walk, there are different gates for a human to use, which require a code to get back in - be sure to ask the desk person because they don't inform you otherwise. The reason for all that security may be the immediate area, which is not that appealing. Despite being the downtown, there isn't much going on there, even on weekdays. And sadly there is a homeless problem in the area, especially in front of the aforementioned library (which is a great facility if you go inside). About the most normal activity comes in the morning when lawyers and others enter the Tulsa County Courthouse which is opposite the library. Now maybe the area is more active when there is an event at the BOK Arena a couple of blocks away, or a convention is taking place at the Cox Business Center right behind the hotel, but when were there for three days, the area was just not happening (in stark contrast to Bricktown in OKC, where we had been previously).
MM. JohnsonWas clean the staff was really nice. It did show a cook top in pictures but the room only had a micro wave full-size fridge and coffee maker. It was a nice stay and I wish we could’ve got there earlier the pool looked cool and very clean.
GGuest UserThe service here was outstanding. This place is quiet and spotless. I was so surprised because I had a bad experience before but the new manager Matthew made all the difference. You really want to give them a try if you ever stayed here before. Excellent amenities. Excellent waiting area. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was awesome. Waffles, eggs, sausage and gravy and even cereal for the kids. There's a mall across the street and there's a couple of places eating areas very close by as well as Barnes & Noble and how could I forget there's also an indoor pool for the kids.If you traveling to Tulsa near the Woodland Hills Mall area or even if you're not please try this hotel.
GGuest UserI would not stay at this hotel. I arrived at the airport and first ordered an Uber, while I was waiting I saw the hotel at a shuttle. I approached it and the driver acted like he never saw a black person before. He saw I wasn’t leaving so he asked where I was staying. I confirmed the Doubletree. He then told me he would be awhile and I would have to wait as if he’s prefer me yo get out and find my own transportation. As I felt uncomfortable, I got off the shuttle and took an Uber. Arriving at 1am in the morning, it was not a pleasant experience. Arrived at the hotel I formed the receptionist of my experience and she attempted to justify his actions.
DDorseyI had a great experience here. The staff is very welcoming and very polite. They were always giving information on up coming events and social gatherings.
The staff are very friendly. The front desk/foyer is deceptive though. Very new and updated… super clean. Then you get to the hallway to your room and you begin to realize the rest was not as updated. My hallway had a slight odor to it… then I got to the room… the room smelled awful like really old musky mildew… old wet carpet smell. Their were snot boogers blown on the wall near the bed (not kidding) and the sitting chair looked like someone had either given birth or possible been murdered… it was disturbingly gross. The bed was a full size that felt like it was made from layers of plywood and it was set up with a king backboard and night stands fixed to the wall so you almost had to get out of the full size bed to reach the night stands. I will say the maids cleaned daily of you wished and the smell wasn’t so bad after a can and a half of fabreez. They did have decent internet and surprisingly large 4k tvs. This was paid for by Melton Truck Lines for training otherwise I would have left the moment I saw the room and the smell… oh that smell.
GGuest UserI stay here at this location about once or twice a month. Room is always clean. I prefer the accessible rooms as they are closer to the office. Checkout is quick and the hostess coffee cake and microwavable breakfast sandwich are not bad at all!! Sometimes checking in can be on the slower side (depending on who's at the desk), but overall--a decent stay for the money that's why I keep coming back.
