Kharaa Hotel & Restaurant

Hotel is around 1.5km to Ulaanbator Square, location wise, it is not too bad. Hotel vicinity is quiet and has a few nice neighbourhood pubs. Hotel condition is old, and interior is quite run-down. There was no daily cleaning despite our request. Although it provided basic accommodation, it is not worth the price (SGD45) we paid for.

Room is very big and comfortable. Location is good - near Prospect Mira, but very quiet. 15-20 min from main square, close to Gandan monastery. Staff helped us with night transfer to the airport.

Pretty decent and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The location is on the Westside of Ulaanbaatar, Recommended.

If you want a nice affordable sozialist stylish hotel, you are right here. with comfortable furniture, good wifi,and here ist the but,shower in a bathtub and a fitted carpet which has see better years. I would say to top location and welcoming staff.

Location was decent, the hotel was a bit old and run down but for travelers who want to experience what it's like to live in a decaying post-Soviet hotel it could be nice. Service was meh, shampoo was not replaced, everything was falling apart, window had to be held open with a plastic bottle. Bathroom was not great, no mirror, no power outlets, shower was old but warm at least.

The staff are always friendly and smiling! Very quick check in and convenient location as well!
