Castle at Maui Banyan Reviews

We have stayed at the Maui Banyan several times before. Our room, Q405 was very clean and had an excellent partial ocean view. The unit was just missing a few kitchen items, such as a “flipper” and cutting board…nothing that affected our enjoyment of Maui. The grounds are very well kept, and bbq area kept spotless! We would request this unit when we return to beautiful Maui once again!

Thai property was damaged and dirty. The location was in a lower economic area. It was well below expectations.

We had a lovely stay at Maui Banyan. It was located at a very convenient spot, walking distance to the beach and many dining spots. The place was clean, overall.

It is a good property very near to the beach. There are many dining options near the park. The room is a but small with big storage areas.

Booked a double full; got a queen and a pull out from 1990. Plumbing issues in both bathrooms. Outdated. Kitchen lacking bowls, literally one bowl.

I STRONGLY recommend avoiding this place. I am very upset with ******* for hosting this place. The room is outdated. The Internet was slow and kept dropping. The loud and cold AC was less than 1 foot from the bed. I could not sleep with the AC on, and the room was unbearably hot. I called the management the first night about the AC and if they can move us. I was promised in the morning. I never got a callback. Worst place I have been ever.

Easy quick walk to beach. Quiet property with parking structure. This unit provided all the basics and some nice perks too (boogie boards, beach chairs and more).

The lockout was fine, had nice shower. The air conditioning was intermittent and loud. Worst part was no ice available. Small fridge didn’t have freezer and no ice machine on property made it hard to take food to beach.

At our arrival time, the front desk ladies were not friendly; I asked several questions regarding towels, cleaning service, etc. One of them said no tools or cleaning service is all on your own, the unit owner provides you with a few things, and you have to do the rest. :( The washer machine was broken. The technician checked it out on our third day, but it was not fixed until two days before our departure. We were there for 16 days. The unit furniture needs an update. The couch and decorative pillows are ancient and small, and the air conditioner is very loud.

Very clean, very quiet, beautiful area, very comfortable bed , the most l like two bathrooms in one bedroom.

The property is well-situated as it is walking distance to places to eat and the beach is across the street. However, the AC is poor so we did not sleep well. It is on a 4 hour timer so when it turns off in the middle of the night you wake up roasting and have to get up to turn the timer AC back on. We will NOT stay here again for that reason.

This room was very run down and old. We did not receive any service like towel exchange. Air conditioner was right beside the bed blowing on it. Curtains were old and gross and did not keep the light out. Not very nice for $3000cdn for 7 nights

The property was really nice, beautiful lush grounds. Pools were really nice also. Well kept up. Great location, right access from the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Was not happy with the rooms. Our condo did not match the photos on the ******* web site. Kitchen and bathroom very dated (it was not like the room photos) ! Grout and mold in bathroom. We were able to move to a different condo, still outdated! Had multiple issues at both locations. Not happy with the condition of both room.

We were fortunate to get H208 which had a nicely renovated kitchen, floors, bathrooms with very clean and comfortable furniture. Not exactly a "garden view" but more like partial ocean view when you turn the chairs on the lanai to the left and is quite pleasant. A very quiet and peaceful setting throughout. The front desk can't help you if you have any problems in your condo. Castle Maui Banyan is managed by KSM Castle Resorts & Hotels. See your email reservations for contacting them.
