Wanning Half-Mountain Seacliff Lighthouse Pool Villa (Shenzhou Peninsula Potougang Branch)

Extremely poor experience: 1. **Inconvenient Location & Parking**: The hotel's location makes it prone to traffic jams, and there's no designated parking available, forcing guests to park on the roadside. 2. **Inefficient Room Layout**: While the room appears spacious, a significant portion is 'dead space.' The sink, wardrobe, bathroom, and toilet are all in one open-plan area. This means if one person is showering, no one else can use the toilet or brush their teeth. 3. **Overpriced with Hidden Costs**: For a nearly 800 RMB per night price tag (unsure if this is a Ctrip platform markup or the hotel's standard high rate), breakfast isn't even included and has to be paid for separately. 4. **Misleading 'Panoramic Sea View'**: Our room was advertised as having a panoramic sea view, but it was actually located in a recessed part of the building, with rooms on both sides obstructing the view, severely limiting visibility. 5. **Good Service (the only redeeming quality)**: The service attitude was quite good. If you park far away, there's a shuttle to pick you up and help with luggage. Both the front desk staff and the restaurant aunties were very pleasant and helpful! The room was great, with amazing sea views. It faces the lighthouse directly, and while there were many people queuing to go up, we could enjoy the lighthouse and bay scenery right from our room. We even launched our drone from the balcony, which was absolutely fantastic. The service was also very warm and welcoming. There's a small sandy area and some rocks below the hotel, and after the tide goes out, there are lots of crabs, perfect for kids who want to try a bit of 'beachcombing'. The only downside was the limited parking, but that doesn't detract from what was an otherwise perfect experience.

The room was clean, facilities were decent, the environment was pleasant, and the service was excellent. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Pros: The location is excellent. Our balcony faced the lighthouse, offering beautiful views of the first morning sun. There were many people fishing on the cliffside beach at night, and we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Cons: 1. The facilities are outdated, leftover from when it was a Wyndham hotel. The hairdryer definitely needs an upgrade as it overheats quickly. The disposable slippers were of poor quality, and I wouldn't dare wear the shower slippers. 2. There are very few amenities nearby; it's quite secluded.
