The area is lovely and the hotel was pretty much perfect for what we needed. The room was clean, comfortable and the hotel itself is neighboured by a McDonald’s and a Tesco Express. What more could you ask for (maybe better WIFI, I would probably ask for that!)?

On arrival the building doesn’t look very prepossessing however be prepared to have a lovely stay in clean modern rooms with every facility. I stayed in a premium plus room which was well serviced and included a small fridge and a coffee maker. The housekeeping team were very good and the products left, were premium quality. There are also eating facilities for those who don’t wish to venture for breakfast was varied with a reasonable selection. It was no-frills eating, however It was adequate Would certainly stay again when visiting relatives.

Check in was a shambles. Arrived 30 mins early and was ignored by the woman on reception (she actually walked away whilst I was stood there). Spoke to someone else and was advised there was £10 early check in fee which is fair enough. So we decided to wait in the restaurant area. Nobody told us there was free tea and coffee facilities. At 3pm I went to check in and this took 15 minutes whilst they tried to find a room that was clean. I was then told there would be no cooked breakfast on either day due to staff shortages, so I asked for a refund on the breakfast. This member of staff seemed very harried, not particularly welcoming or interested, just kept saying ‘we’re short staffed’. Once finally checked in, I decided that continental would be better than nothing so I called reception to ask them to switch us to the continental on the first day and a refund on the second day of our stay. After several attempts there was no answer so I went down and happened to speak to the chef. He was great and friendly and helpful and advised there would be a cooked breakfast the next morning as he was cooking it?! Got the full breakfast the next morning and asked for a refund for the second day as there would be no cooked food. I’m still awaiting this refund. Lady welcoming us to breakfast was helpful and friendly. The lift to the second floor didn’t work, the staff were few and far between and all in all, there was very little communication between staff.

I wouldn’t normally write a review for a Premier Inn but felt this deserved one due to great breakfast experience. The guy welcoming us was excellent - he obviously loves his job - first class example of customer service. Sadly I didn’t get his name. Breakfast items were refreshed regularly so everything was piping hot. Room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. Think the lift had an issue meaning it only went to the first floor so if you have mobility issues check this before you book/arrive and request a room on the first floor - these things happen though and I’m sure it will be fixed soon. Staff were also great in the bar last night. Play park and open field less than 10 mins walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely Premier Inn. Quiet room, very comfortable bed, meticulously clean. Strange to have very little interaction with ‘humans’ throughout my stay. Check in was via a computer that printed the key for me. Signed in at breakfast the following morning. Airbed myself out. Whilst this is efficient it is not particularly welcoming.

What a lovely hotel.. we were here due to an issue at our home. The staff were friendly and attentive. The lovely girl in the kitchen in the morning was lovely made poached egg for me twice. First time she’d ever made them and I must say it was perfect. Bedrooms are spacious and very clean, bath omg amazing so deep and lovely hot water. Comfy bed I can’t fault anything at all. Wouldn’t recommend and will be staying again.

Don't go there. When you are presented with a menu you need to ask what food they actually do have available off the menu rather than being told what they don't have. Diner is too small for the number of rooms so be prepared to wait indefinitely for a table. As for your food arriving.....(that's the food that they actually do have) be prepared to wait 45 mins for your food to arrive. Felt for the staff having to apologise for the disgraceful set up here. Like I said. Don't bother staying, a bit of a smelly hole, euphemistically speaking.
