Scholars Boutique Hotel(Wuxi Xuntang Old Town)

Every year when I go to Wuxi to worship Buddha, I stay near Mashan. This time I chose the new district. According to the navigation, it takes about 30-40 minutes to drive through the Taihu Tunnel, which is not far. The hotel is in Xuntang Ancient Town, and the guest rooms are scattered throughout the town. The ancient town is the hotel, and the hotel is the ancient town. There is a scene at every step, especially late at night or early in the morning. Xuntang Ancient Town without tourists is quiet and beautiful. This time we stayed in a two-bedroom guest room. The first floor is the living room, tea table, and entertainment room. The second floor is two independent bedroom suites. The hotel hardware is still good, with smart whole house, smart toilet, Dyson hair dryer, and service staff are also responsive. We ordered takeout twice, and it was delivered directly to the room even at 23:00 in the evening. Let me make a few suggestions or shortcomings. First of all, the guest rooms are scattered in the ancient town, which is open to the public during the day, so there are often tourists walking through it. One of our bedrooms faces the street, and the voices of tourists are clearly audible. The windows of the living room on the first floor along the street often have curious tourists looking inside, which is why the windows here cannot be opened. The smell of the decoration on the first floor is obviously heavier than that of the bedrooms on the second floor (even if the air purifier is always on); secondly, the hotel has too few supporting facilities, only one restaurant (the food tastes very average). We checked in at 15:00 in the afternoon, and the restaurant was closed and would not open until 17:30. In addition, the hotel does not have any meal services, and afternoon tea needs to be reserved in advance. There is no decent restaurant nearby, and the nearest one may be a shopping mall 3km away; thirdly, the service staff is indeed responsive, but compared with the professional services of chain brands, it is still a bit lacking. I can't say specifically that it may be a lack of sincere enthusiasm and smiles.

The back door leads directly to the hotel garden, and you can stroll around the ancient town by strolling in the hotel. The hotel's service is very considerate. Before checking in, the housekeeper Xiao Feng contacted by phone and added WeChat to confirm the arrival time, greeted at the drop-off point, and took the initiative to help take the luggage to the room. During the stay, the guests' requirements were solved in a timely manner, making our stay very comfortable and cozy. When checking out, the receptionist at the front desk personally helped us take the luggage to the car, which touched us very much. We will stay here again if we have the chance.

The most cost-effective luxury hotel, with a simple appearance and luxurious interior. The decoration, facilities, and hotel supplies provided are all top-notch. The service is cordial and attentive, and responsive to all requests. Although the free breakfast is not rich in variety, the ingredients are fresh and the taste is authentic local flavor, which is delicious. There is one hotel in every town, and the taste of the hotel is worthy of the word "bookish". It seems that this is the only choice when visiting Wuxi in the future.

The hotel is transformed from an old building in the ancient town. It is built by the river and behind it is a wetland park. The hotel has a side door to enter the park from 9 am to 5 pm. It is a good walk at night! The housekeeper Xiao Feng is enthusiastic in service. He communicated with us about check-in one day in advance, sent the parking lot address and pick-up, and helped us solve problems in time during our stay. He patiently understood the check-in physical examination, etc. I also received a souvenir from the hotel when I left. It was a great experience!

Passing through Wuxi, it was also my first time to visit Xuntang Ancient Town. The hotel is in the ancient town, or even the entire ancient town, full of various design features of Chinese gardens. The room hardware is also very good, except that the central cooling air conditioner can't be turned on in this weather, it's a bit hot and the water pressure of the shower is not good, but the hair dryers are all Dyson, and the mini bar, fruit and brush letters are given when you check in, which are all very good. The housekeeper "Xiao Feng" is also very considerate to help with the luggage and arrange for takeout to be delivered to the room (yes, you can order Cha Yan Yue Se nearby). We missed breakfast the next day and arranged a simple breakfast noodles. In short, it was a very pleasant hotel experience!

The hotel is in Xuntang Ancient Town. The ancient town is very small. It is not far or near to some scenic spots. It is basically about 8 or 9 kilometers away. If you want to feel the a**osphere of Jiangnan gardens, you can experience it. The breakfast is too simple. It really doesn't match the price. There are quite a lot of people visiting during the May Day holiday. People coming and going at the door are full of curiosity about the hotel rooms. If you forget to close the door by accident, then congratulations, tourists will come in to visit immediately, and even walk into the room and peek in.
