The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful night's rest. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with both check-in and check-out. Plus, they offer free luggage storage, which is a huge convenience for exploring without being weighed down. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making dining and entertainment super easy. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Wuxi. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Wuxi!"

"Ever since this hotel has been built I have wanted to stay there. It was supposed to be one of the top hotels in Wuxi. As I have been travelling to Wuxi for over 26 years I decided to treat myself. What a disappointment. The shower gel was empty, It was impossible to get a seat at breakfast and the breakfast room looked like a war zone. It took me 15 minutes to get a coffee due to the sheer size of the people wiating in line. On top of that the staff looked miserable. All in all, it's not worth the money and there are much cheaper and better options in my opinion. I definitely will not be staying again. One really good thing though, was the view from my room."

The only downside is that there aren't many dining options, and once you've explored Nianhua Bay, there's not much else to do. The hotel service was quite good, and the breakfast selection was ample."

"Every year, my family of three visits the Lingshan Grand Buddha, and each time we choose a different hotel. This year, we opted for the Marriott, and even though it's about a 40-minute drive from the Buddha, we felt it was well worth it. Not only is the hotel's interior beautiful, but the scenery right across the street is also stunning! Liyuan Garden is just a short walk away, and we happened to catch their hydrangeas exhibition. The gardens were bursting with flowers, full of summer charm, and bustling with visitors. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast was superb, offering both Western and Chinese options. The Wuxi xiaolongbao (steamed soup dumplings) and egg pancakes were absolutely delicious! For dinner at the Chinese restaurant, I'd say the steamed whitefish was the highlight; the fish was incredibly fresh and tender! White shrimp wasn't available at the time, but the silverfish soup was also exceptionally good. Furthermore, all the hotel staff were very polite and provided attentive and thoughtful service. We were all very satisfied."

The lady who checked me in was all smiles, patiently explained the hotel facilities, and even proactively upgraded my room type. What made me happiest was that, since it's summer, the front desk gave me two complimentary tickets for a night cruise on the Ancient Grand Canal! Going on the boat in the evening, feeling the breeze, and admiring the lights along the banks was an absolutely fantastic experience. This perk was so incredibly thoughtful. I also want to give a special thanks to the front desk staff. I was in such a rush when checking out that I left my favorite hat in the room. I quickly contacted the hotel, and without a second thought, the front desk confirmed it and immediately arranged to have it couriered back to me. This kind of service, where they truly care about even the smallest guest concerns, is genuinely heartwarming. In summary, this new Indigo hotel delivers on all fronts, both in terms of facilities and service. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Wuxi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!"

"The hotel's location is absolutely superb. After exiting the hotel and turning right, you walk about 100 meters, go through an underpass to cross the road, and you'll emerge directly facing Nanshangtang. The famous Nanchang Street is just across the river, parallel to Nanshangtang. Nanshangtang is narrower, while Nanchang Street is wider, and there's a bridge connecting them. If you keep walking straight, you'll reach Qingming Bridge, which offers beautiful views. If you don't feel like walking along the river, there's a ferry you can take. It's very pleasant to wander around, shop, and eat. When you get tired, you can easily return to the hotel to rest and then head out again to see the night views when it gets dark. The hotel is a well-established five-star property, and its facilities are definitely up to standard, offering an old-school luxury. The room decor still has a decade-old style, which is understandable, but the rooms are spacious, and the view of Nanchang Street at night from the window is stunning. The hotel is also very close to the airport, a convenient 20-minute drive. It's about 10 kilometers to Yuantouzhu, and some traffic during cherry blossom season is to be expected and acceptable. Service: The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the service. There was absolutely none of the rigorously trained service attitude you'd expect from a long-standing hotel. During check-in and check-out, there were no smiles or greetings like "hello." This wasn't just a few individuals; it was consistent across all front desk staff and the luggage storage area. They were cold and unwelcoming, which was very surprising. A smile should be a basic requirement."
