Citadines New District Wuxi Reviews

The service attitude was very good, but the room hygiene needs improvement. The towels had stains, and there were short hairs on the nightstand and next to the sink faucet. The breakfast auntie was very warm and nice, but the breakfast selection was very limited, with almost no meat dishes, only pork sausages. If you don't eat pork, it would be quite difficult... Also, the gym lacked a treadmill, which was a shame for someone with a lumbar disc herniation like me. 😂 Overall, the value for money is decent, and I'll likely stay here again if I have another business trip nearby.

This Citadines property, part of the Ascott brand, is ideally located in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, south of Taihu Lake. It's a tailor-made 'house' for its guests. Along the Shanghai-Nanjing line, you can currently only find properties like this in Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, and Nanjing. The Ascott duty manager is a busy presence during breakfast and the morning check-out rush, demonstrating an eye for detail, guiding staff, and striving for perfection. The Citadines front desk supervisor is incredibly versatile, seamlessly switching between different roles, almost like an all-powerful housekeeping manager! It's no wonder the hotel maintained high occupancy throughout the summer, with an increasing number of repeat guests occupying more and more rooms.

The apartment rooms are spacious and comfortable, fully equipped with daily necessities, and even some kitchenware and cutlery, making it an ideal choice for friends or families traveling together. The front desk staff are also very polite and welcoming. There were small gifts for both check-in and check-out. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Wuxi.

The room facilities are great, and the front desk service was warm and patiently resolved our issues. The experience was good, and I'll definitely come back next time. Highly recommended!

The room is very spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. It has two air conditioners that provide strong cooling.

The hotel was easy to find and the room was quite good for my stay with my child. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Li, was very enthusiastic and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious.

This is a good business hotel with high value for money. The underground parking is directly accessible and free during the stay, and the parking spaces are quite large and easy to park in. Breakfast starts as early as 6 AM, which is very convenient for those of us catching early flights.

Good staying, there is nothing around it in the night time

👍 What we liked: ✔ Spacious, family-friendly apartments– Perfect for our family of four. ✔ Exceptionally quiet area – Peaceful for relaxation. ✔ Friendly English-speaking staff– Warm welcome at check-in made us feel at ease. 👎 Considerations: ✖ Location is far from main attractions – Requires Didi/bus rides to reach tourist spots. ✖ Limited breakfast variety ✖ Construction noise – Some disturbances during the day and night.

The room was clean and the breakfast was abundant.

Clean and pleasant hotel in Wuxi new area. Not a huge amount around the place but a small mall nearby and within walking distance.

Good place maybe next time also booking
