khumdan Leqi Youth Hotel

Decent hostel in the city centre. The boss is very helpful and speaks English. The room was nice and warm despite the freezing weather when I stayed, but the common areas and the bathroom were a bit chilly. However the shower was nice and hot. The dorm room had nice capsule style beds with small storage shelves and a plug and light. The bed was a bit hard, it's a very thin mattress. There also wasn't a huge amount of space in the room for storing things (no assigned lockers etc.) so if you have a big suitcase might not be ideal. I've attached a picture of how to find the entrance, someone else posted a review showing some statues of old men. The entrance is pretty much directly opposite that on a raised slope. Overall, for the price it's a good deal.

I love the design of my bed, it covers all the beds with curtains for full privacy! The hostel is clean and cool! The host is quite friendly and approachable! For the first timer, the hostel is easy to locate. In front of the entrance, there will be a mannequin of old men (refer to my picture). Take the elevator to level 5 (refer my picture) and you will see the reception. It's nearby to The Drum Tower Xian and Muslim Hui Street!

I just stayed for one night and it was good, the only thing is that the bathroom looked a little old, but it was not a problem and that I was freezing in the night I didn’t saw any heaters, but the personal was really nice

Initially not as terrible as I had feared despite the low price. The layer of dust I saw when leaving my luggage early (in some corner because there was nobody to talk to) was gone when I checked in later. Place was easy to find (first image, take the elevator to the 5th floor and you're there) and in a very local area. Nice eateries and a small mobile phones and accessories mall turning left then right when leaving the building. Huimin Street and Drum and Bell Towers in walking distance. Free water dispenser and plenty of space in the hostel despite the lack of power outlets at the workspaces. But there comes the problem. The voltage at the power outlet seems elevated, my charger melted and almost caught fire although I used it everywhere else in Asia as well as for several weeks in China already. Other chargers I tried at this place also got extremely hot. They put me in a separate room to prevent another bad review on the potential production of spit, noise, dirt and sometimes even cigarette smoke in the dorms. One bathroom even had a seat toilet. Obviously plenty of smoking in the common area.

Had everything you need, place was easy to find and was in a nice location not far from the city's attractions. Restaurants were only a few minutes away and the rooms were nice and clean.

The owner is kind, it’s a local hostel with a lot of workers . Room and bed are good and clean . Common area is cute , shower and toilet are dirty and full of cigaret and smell cigaret

Great location, very walkable to the Muslim quarter. Can be confusing to get in (YWCA building, 5th floor) Some people were smoking inside which leads to an odd odor.

Hostel is good enough for few nights, I don't raccomend for long staying, bed hard, not so comfortable
